- Infrastructure is good. ACs are installed in almost 99% of the classes now.
- Provide good amount of opportunities for sports as well.
- Provide good opportunities for placement and other extra curricular activities.
Dislikes
- Relative grading feels much more tough here.
- Intakes a lot of students, therefore competition is very very high.
- A bit relaxation in time should be given to students
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is good. It completely follows the guidelines of the UGC. Although I feel it can be a bit more easy and more free time should be provided but since the UGC guidelines are compulsory to be followed so it totally depends on the central government.
Internships Opportunities
From 6th semester onwards many companies start visiting the campus for internship opportunites along with performance based pre placement offer options. In each semester you have to make a project which can help you in your CV in later phase of your life.
Placement Experience
Studnets are eligible for campus placements from 6th semester. Companies like KPIT, TCS, LG, Play simple and many more companies come. Average package is around 5-6 lakhs with highest around 40 lakh. Approx 70% students get placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
The university provides scholarship based on the test taken by them named as CUCAT, they even provide you scholarship on the basis of your marks in your board examination or JEE exams. The yearly fess for my batch was 212000, which has now been increased for new batches, but one can secure a good amount of scholarship if he studies well.
Campus Life
Many fests like CU fest, tech fest are being organized. Additionally DJ nights are also there every month. You can get your desired book issued fromo library. The facilites for sports are too good, with good opportunites also.Many clubs are there being run by students.
Hostel Facilities
In room you are provided with 1 almirah, 1 study table, 1 bed for each student. Meal provided in the mess is okay okay, not too good not too bad, you have to register for the hostel in the staritng. For the PGs there are many areas like modern valley, omega city, darpan greens etc.
Admission
Since I was not able to get into IITs , it was a good option for me. I was confident enough that I will be able to get addmission in this college. It has good placement records and also provides much more opportunites to grow in life, so I chose this. Addmission process is not that hard. You can directly visit the college campus and talk to them.
Faculty
The faculty members are from all over the India. The faculty members are well educated and qualified to teach you. For the computer science course there occurs 2 MSTs in one semester and one final end semester exams. The grading system is relative so its a bit difficult to score very high cgpa.
Interview Experience
Yeah therre are constantly GD being conducted for the students practise so that they don't face any difficulty during placements. As such there is no criteria for addmission as far as I know. Just be knowledgable and then you will able to crack any round.
Night Life
Boys are allowd in the campus till 10 and girls till 8. There is a gym for every 2 hostels combined. You are allowed to roam freely in the hostel campus at any time even in mid night. Famous hang out places are fountain, nescafe shop.
