- Supportive environment, students and professors are good
- No ragging, theg have an anti ragging cell
- not much language barrier, people from different places so you can communicate in hindi and english as well
Dislikes
- The infrastructure can be better, not all the classes have ac
- The washrooms of the whole college stinks and not much hygienic
- Irregular classes and the uniform of girls for this college i personally don't like
Course Curriculum Overview
My course is very comprehensive and good for general course degree for those who aims to get an overall knowledge of commerce, but it's not really relevant to real world situations and for further career opportunities
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees structure for bcom FYUGP course of 4 years is 7150rs per year, in odd semesters, for 4 years, it's 28,600. And every semester there is examination form fill up of 890rs and centre fees which varies every semester, as per my 1st sem, it was 720, and for 2nd sem, it was 400. Now i am in 2nd only... And this might or might not increase in future.
Campus Life
My overall campus life is not much active but it's okayish for the 1st and 2nd semester as of yet, and socials clubs and these things aren't there in my college, so no involvement, and infrastructure provided is pretty basic and i personally believe that it can be improved if the elections and students union members after election actually contribute and do something for the college rather than getting all the money to their pockets
Admission
I choose this college because of certain personal reasons, one of them is i had to study in Guwahati and not in any other state, also, I applied for Gauhati University, and k c dad commerce college, but i did not get admission in Gauhati University main campus because the cut off was high
Faculty
The faculty members are very good and helpful, supportive in everything and understanding, course structure is is very simple and you will not have much problem with it, exams are semester wise, 2 exams per semester, sessionals and finals, marking schemes are available in Gauhati University offical website
Night Life
No nightlife at all, this thing is pretty boring as college is only opened in the day, there is no nightlife, college is closed after 4pm and is opened only occasionally when there are fests for functions
