My Campus Story

The curriculum bridges the gap between academic and the cirporate world. We have regular conferences, workshops and guest lectures with corporate officials who give us an idea about the trending technologies and nee job opportunities. These take place from our first year due to which, we gain better knowledge and are in sync with the fast changing world.

There are many companies that provide internship and PPO for students. These companies include Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, IBM, and also startup companies. They provide internships in various roles from which students can pick and choose.

Our college offers placement starting from the 6th semester. There are multiple companies such as Accenture, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Cognizant, Infosys, Capgemini, and many more which have visited our campus. Every year the percentage of students getting placed has only increased. The average package per company is 14LPA.

I am currently pursuing my B-Tech under the management quota and also a hostelite. I have been paying about Rs. 1,50,000 each year which includes both the tuition and hostel fee included in it. To break it down, I pay Rs. 1,00,000 as tuition fee and Rs. 50,000 as my hostel fee which includes both the mess and accommodation. Unlike other colleges where the caution fee, deposit fee, admission fee and all other fees are taken separately, in my college all of these are merged into my tuition fee. My college also provides a scholarship opportunity in the form of The SAI PRUDENT exam. This exam is a direct gateway to our institution. Performing well in this exam will also give students an opportunity to secure a 100% scholarship. In my opinion, our college is very affordable and being affordable also provides quality education.

We have different kind of fests happening almost every month. The biggest fest that happens every year is the Youth Fest which lasts for about a week and each day of the week has a different motive. Apart from this we also have technical fests which happen and it is a great time to showcase our skills as people from all around cone to cisit these fests. Our library has a vast collection of books and journals. Our classrooms are very advanced with great infrastructure and are spacious. All our classrooms are digitalised. Our campus has the biggest sport ground and offers a variety of sport options. We also do have student clubs with variety of activities and events of their own.

The hostel facilities are top noch. The rooms are very spacious which include a bathroom and a study table for each person. Each room consists of a maximum for 4 people. Each person has their own privacy to unwind after a long of college. The meals at our hostel are very hygienic and delicious. They serve us balanced and nutritious food. I recommend to stay at the hostel as it is very safe and secure and also has a homely feel to it.

I chose my college especially because our college has better curriculum and is mostly practical oriented and as a computer science student I think programming is an important skill and it is only built through hands on experience. Especially for computer science students there is a special program known as the RIT program of which I am a part of. The students in this program have 1 on 1 mentorship with foreign faculty who will help develop our coding skills.

The faculty are very open, approachable and available. I personally cannot pick and choose one faculty as each faculty has their own way of teaching and they are the best in different ways. The exams are mostly practical oriented and tests the students on core concepts and practical principles.

After a day of classes which mostly gets done by 4:30p.m especially for hostelites, we have delicious snacks waiting for us at the hostel. After that we enjoy our time in the hostel rooms which is peaceful and have lots of Late-Night conversations with our roommates. It's just fun to have different people around you from whom you can learn so many things. As our college has a diverse range of people it's so fun to know and learn about each of their cultures and lifestyles.
