Remarks

The life in my college is good. The infrastructure and crowd of my college is good. The teaching and training facility is good. Along with the studies, the extra curricular activities in my college is good. I think all the students will enjoy there college life according to them.

Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is quite good. Students will go through sessional exams which takes place after every one month and the end of each semester we have final exams. Students also have practical exams after end of semester.

Placement Experience

Students will get lot of placements and jobs opportunities. Almost every company will visit my College with good salary packages and large number of placement opportunities. I have no idea regarding the internship provided by my college.

College Events

Lots of events are celebrated in my college. Every festival that is celebrated in India is celebrated in my college. Along with festival celebrations we organise different fests and events. The main fest of my college is PARIVARTAN. Also every department have its own fest which is organised by students of that department.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure of my college is flexible and it is not expensive. We have to deposit fee after every six months that is per every semester and the fee cost will be different for different courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

I don't have knowledge about the scholarship or loan facility offered by my college as I never availed such facility. But I am pretty sure that my college will provide scholarship and loan facility. Student will have to enquire about it own it's own.

Campus Life

We celebrate different fests in my college where student will participate in different technical and non technical events according to there interest. The labs in my college is good, fully air conditioned, and equiped with all the necessary instruments.We have basketball court, Batminton court, and many other indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is good in my college. Senior students will help junior students in every situation. They share there experience with there juniors. There behaviour with juniors is good and friendly. The most important thing is the tagging is strictly prohibited in my college. And every senior will treat junior as his/her friend.

Admission

First of all me and my father do proper enquiry about the college. After the satisfactory result of our enquiry me and my parents went to college for my admission. There I book my seat in b.tech(CSE) department.

Faculty

The faculty of college is good, experienced, intelligent. The nature of all the teachers are good. They are friendly with every student. They are ready to help every student in every situation. There teaching is also good.

Likes

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

An honest look at campus

Likes

The university boasts an excellent, massive campus infrastructure with great amenities and highly diverse student crowd provides great cultural exposure
While the engineering batches naturally leans towards more boys (around 1:3 girl to boy ratio)
Availability off dedicated campus mentorship programming and technical club provided a great platform.

Dislikes

The campus administration enforced incredibly strict security and daily restrictions which feel a little overwhelmed
The total no of students in a course like cse is massive. So the competition for the high tier placement is very intense.
If we need any information or some help from the administration they will make it lag and go to that window this window and we will not get the information ww required

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro,cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed.The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Likes

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

Likes

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts
Skilled professional educators and tutors

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

Big campus and beautiful garden and environment
Aqi was soo good because plants and tree was so much

Mess food was bad but it doesn't taste that bad
If we Complaint about anything college mostly ignore it

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

I like the machines that's why I choose the mechanical branch in engineering line. Noida , Gurgoan , Chandigarh , Bengluru and many other areas for improvements in the course curriculum and teaching methods.

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

Likes

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

Dislikes

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum

General Engineering College Landra: a balanced blend of academics, placements and compass life

I chose Chandigarh Engineering College Laundry over the other due to its strong placement record affordable structure and good industry connections first up I applied to Chitkara University and Lovely Professional University but found C see more cost effective with a well structured curriculum. I go to admission offers, I preferred CC for its better return on investment.
