Course Curriculum Overview
If I had to rate this particular course in kr mangalam university, i would say that the outcome differs from student to student on the basis of their portfolio building in the span of 3-4 years in the university
Internships Opportunities
After 2 semesters, the students get break of 2 months during june and july in which they either get an internship opportunity through the university or they do it online and they need to submit the report of it after the college resumes, the internship maybe paid or unpaid
Placement Experience
The placements over here is amazing but as i mentioned before, it depends from student to student, companies like aaj tak, news 24, abp news and other big news channels come for recruitment and the students get the jobs on the basis of their CV's and resume.
Fees and Financial Aid
Currently I'm in my first semester pursuing bachelor's in journalism and mass communication (hons.) and have paid 80,000 for 6 months and 1,00,000 as hostel fees (20,000 being security deposit) and all the lab fees and all is included in that 80,000 semester fees that i have paid. Regarding Scholarships, I have got a scholarship of 20,000 rupees on the basis of my cuet scored and it's been the same for my other batchmates as well
Campus Life
The Campus life over here is good with a total area of 30 acres and we also have different clubs like rhetoric, mediaverse, MUN, Sports etc. and allnthe clubs conduct their club meeting once every week on friday
Hostel Facilities
The hostel life over here i would say is not that bad, we get the necessary facilities from the university and the mess food is not upto the mark, the chapayis and vegetables remain uncooked sometimes but i believe that it's the case with every hostel of private universities
Admission
So KR Mangalam University was initially my backup and i was targetting colleges like delhi college of arts and commerce, maharaja agrasen college but i don't regret getting admission in this college as the infrastructure and exposure i'm getting over here, i'm sure i would not have gained in other colleges
Faculty
So like in BA(JMC) Faculty particularly, we have in total 7 teachers from different fields across designing, computer, reporting etc. and all the teachers are verys student friendly and well enhanced with their study material
Night Life
The hostel students are allowed to move freely outside their campus in the night till 10pm, we hage good amount of area to walk and the hostel students are allowed to play any outdoor or indoor sport they wish to
