- Too much assignment, workload but chill you can make it in classes haha
- Too much competition for the girls . You should need one thing good looks or vehicle
- They change the sections frequently . So you would get new classmate in every semester
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum for the first year is same like all btech colleges after that you will get core subjects like dsa , oops , ai ml etc . We usually have labs for them too to get practical knowledge of the subjects. Uhh around 2 classes each week for each subject. Teachers are good but you have to study from your own
Internships Opportunities
My friend got internship in Microsoft and his role is software engineer. He got around 40lpa He made projects regards machine learning and ai. Don't try to steal projects that's for losers if you wanna get good placement but still it you're doing it make sure you know everything about it
Placement Experience
Usually from 3rd year you can sit for placement Dell , wipro , coding ninja . Coding ninja took 6 student , dell took 30 and wirpo took 600 It's around 50lpa and avg package would be around 5/6 lpa and the role was sde . 90% students get placed easily I'm planning for learning japanese and go for masters in japan
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees usually depend on the entrance exam based on your exam performance, you may get a fee relaxation. I’ve seen students with 100% fee waivers studying completely free. However, that scholarship is valid only for the first year. After that, you must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5; otherwise, your scholarship will be cancelled.
Campus Life
We got freshers party and many fests . To be honest I'm an introvert so I never attended much fests but trust me it happens each week We got access to a large library in each block so feel free to use them . We got good facilities in classes like digital boards , ac etc We a a got ground for sports and cu pushes the sports person Everything is there in campus just feel free to find them
Admission
I didn't applied to any other college cuz my relative suggested me this college and trust me that's the best thing they ever did to me . I really enjoyed alot there in my college life . I applied for JEE exam but failed to get good college then I decided to get into cu . Take cu if you're not getting any other college . Admission process is easy just apply for entrance exam of cu . Get marks and boom you're a cuian from that day.
Faculty
Faculties are less there in the university. Each faculty will be teaching different subjects in different sections . Faculties are really good you just need to be discipline with them else you will screw up your attendance. I had a professor name mrs ritu in third year she's the best professor I have seen in my life . Exams are 2 monthly tests and one semester end . I never studied for them but just used to get 70 80 % marks in them
Night Life
Chandigarh is known for its light life . If you really wanna enjoy like me don't take hostel or PG . I don't like much people that's why I didn't took them but that's my own perspective. You can take it if you wanna enjoy like animals haha. Rooms are good for privacy. I don't know much about hostel but I have seen their videos and it's amazing and I have eaten food there as an illegal student haha Places to visit :- chandigarh dhaba , vr punjab, Elante mall, sukhna lake , japanese garden, rock garden
