Remarks

College staff always agressive for students attendance. College gaurd was too strict to the students. Faculty was always in support for students. College staff was so good by the behaviour and attitude. College environment is covered by the tree and plants.

Course Curriculum Overview

Rungta College affiliate with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekananda Technical University so it's pattern based on this University. In B.E. course there are various type of course in engineering like Mechanical, Civil,EE,EEE,Mining or more.

Yes my college is one of the best college in Chhattisgarh and also position in india top college rank. There so many job opportunity recently visited by the Amazon, Capgemini, JSPL, reliance Jio, Mahindra and lot of more big job opportunity.

College Events

In my college all type of program held is depend on day. We celebrate "VYOM" in mid of ending of year and starting of year. In vyom we have many type of contest in which mostly populared contest is photography,dance, singing,modelling, cricket and more to appear and give performance in it.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee it not too much expensive for a normal person but yes for a low budget family. Fee structure based on RCET. Other private college or university fee was too costly then here's. In fee structure for this best teachers and facilities is negligible.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship structure of rungta College is based on CGPET marks and 10th-12th total marks. Scholarship eligibility starts from 75% marks in 12th. Loan facility also available in college office. You can easily takes a education loan.

Campus Life

High-tech labs in my college. This was the best thing of my college. For a sports person there are many competition like inter-house and inter-college sports. All type activities conducted by the college like dance,drama,yoga, singing,rube-cell, robotics and more.

Hostel Facilities

My college hostel placed in campus of my college. College hostel and facilities was too good. Cleaning and food of mess was nice. Hostel infrastructure was good and huge. There are many little little flower this make green hostel.

Alumni/Alumna

Our best alumni sir was sahil sakhuja sir. He was placed in apple company. He was from IT branch of 1999 batch. I know about this from my college wapsite he was always idol for us. Senior was too good. His/her behaviour to junior was nice.

Admission

First of all I'm giving entrance exam of CGPET and then I'll fill the CGDTE from for counseling and make listing from this college on top and then after counseling I've got the admission. Counseling is the process of admission it's provide by the CG Government.

Faculty

Faculty of my college is little bit angered to student by the short attendance in activities and curriculum and softer by the behaviour and attitude. Faculty of my college is best then other colleges about my experience.

A great place for PSIT with budget friendly fees but comes with stick rules

Likes

The campus is a specious and well organise featuring separate building for different departments
Compared to many tear one or measure metro private universities room top a decent academy and lab resources at budget
Many professors are accessible helpful and have years of teaching experience

Dislikes

The university strictly and force are 75% attendant rule
While some professor are highly qualified other relax heavily on reading of slide test
Wi-Fi access for students across part of campus and hostel can be unreliable or heavily restricted

Please mate opportunity could be improve for some courses
Administrative process can some time be slow
More industry visit an internship could be benefit

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum at Rungta university is relevant and convert both basic and advanced topic . I choose these course because it offer a good mix of theory and practical learning which help in building skill for job and higher studies the syllabus include assignments practical work and project that improve understanding .Exam are held very every semester along with internal test and practical exams . The difficult level is moderate and the study student regularly can perform well . The curriculum can be improve by adding more industrial project , internship and hand on hand training to give student better real world experience.

There is a café named "Pai chai" which is very amazing and lots of people hangout there for its great Cup of tea.
there are so many good staff and teachers for us to teach. most of them graduated from NITs/IITs and even from IIMs.

Dislikes

There is too less hostels for us. especially for those who are from other states.
Teachers give too much assignment work. very hard to deal with.

Placement Experience:

The placement of our college pretty good for the higher branch like Cse , Ece , IT but for lower branches like ours is very low Only 5-10 students got placed last year from biotech . Whereas the placement percentage of Cse is around 90% . The highest package offered was 56 LPA , that is told us in Induction Program.

Since NTPC holds a stake in our college our placements are guaranteed.
Chattisgarh Government has provided a lot of scholarship for students of our college and mostly to girls to encourage girl child education.
Many innovations and researches are promoted as our college believes in building IT leaders.

Dislikes

Hostels are not cleaned daily and sometimes we are left to do it on our own.

Placement Experience:

At IIIT Naya Raipur from 2022 where 74 out of 180 students were placed in 2025 the number increased to 127. So placements are surging and so are the numbers are also increasing heavily as well. 10 lakhs it is after 2025 and by next year I wish it to be 15 or more.

Honest Review of BIT Durg by a student

Likes

Overall infrastructure is good and clean. There are different outlets in the canteen area, one can get different foods. Plus it also has an cafe, in case you need a cup of coffee!
Facilities are nice and helpful with few exceptions.
Sport infrastructure is good, but needs maintenance

Dislikes

I don't really like the campus life here, it's boring, nothing interesting happens here.
Some faculties are super mean, They scold you for small things.
I don't like the fact that fees doesn't decrease, they should atleast decrease each year if not semester wise.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason why I chose this curriculum is because I've a keen interest in computer programming. The exams aren't really hard if you know the basics and the curriculum. The Faculties are well educated but low-key outdated. Speaking of curriculum, I feel like the curriculum is super outdated and needs to be changed.

The cultural event are held timely with joy and fun.
The coconut garden campus is awesome in whole state.
The hostel facility are best becoz 2 and 3student stay in single room.

Dislikes

The placement facility is low as compare to other course colleges.
The distance of market area is 8 km from college.
The practical work is not as required for agriculture student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The extra curriculum is required for the college in terms of practical work and laboratory department. The exam timing is held in every 6 month. Exam are held in secure and accurate , and full of CCTV cameras.

Life at NIT Raipur

Likes

Campus life is really good with great environment.
Many events which help students learn group working skills and other managing skills.
Faculty is friendly and perfectly trained.

Dislikes

Hostel is not alloted to all the students
The frequency of is a bit high.Preparation time is not enough for exams.

Placement Experience:

Students from 6th semester are eligible for placements.Many companies like google , microsoft,hero , virtusa , and more.Highest package for this year is 62 lakh per annum and average package is 13 lakh per annum.The placement percentage for overall branches is 74%.I will try for a placement in campus placements from my 6th semester.

Campus life: It is very good and homely.

Good coure like CSE with good updated courses.

Dislikes

Less girls sudents . Less girls to boys ratio.
Not good for south students. Cooks according to north students.
No washing machines available for students.

I took cse because it is ever green and demanding. Faculty student ratio is very good here. Every teacher here is done with Phd .many in IITs and some in NITs . Their teaching is good. It is very easy to pass exams here. We can Stuy a night before the exam and get descent score.

Students are eligible for BTech courses in this college if he/she scored a minimum of 60 per cent in Higher Secondary School and passed the cut-off of JEE Mains. He/She can take admission from its website rungta.ac.in, BTech fees are varied by their specialisation course but its maximum course fee which is CSE Core is Rs 40000/semester.
