Course Curriculum Overview

3

Course is really vast and well explained but I think there are things which are not required as practical skills. Curriculum is mostly rote learning just learn it and write it in exams nothing that could help students get real world knowledge. I think our collage should focus more on practicals than theory and should reduce syllabus burden Exams are not difficult they are based directly on syllabus nothing extra.

Internships Opportunities

3

Current in 5th sem there not so many companies right now but I have heard from senior that in 6th sem and 7th sem many companies visit for placement drive providing internships and ppo on performance. Recently oracle and paypal visited our collage for internship and they selected 2 to 4 students. Stipent was around (70k to 90k per month) Competition is really high here. Students have to build projects for good resume here many companies shortlist student on the basis of there projects. My students are going in the line of development so they make project on web development mostly.

Placement Experience

4

As per my experience in 5th sem 3rd year, campus placement is really good. Big companies do visit our collage there is option for selecting campus placement if you want and additional fee of 11000 will be charged for training placement program. Mostly companies start to visit from 5th sem onwards for internships. Oracle recently came to our collage for 30lpa I would say 60% students get placed. After degree i would go for placements

Fees and Financial Aid

At the start we have a scholarship exam through which students can get upto 100% scholarship according to score mine was 30% and also there are option of scholarship for state quota students and through jee mains score above 95%ile students could get 100% scholarship My fees per semester is 120000 and 138000 hostel fees per year and including my scholarship of 30% which is 36000 my per semester fee is 86000

Campus Life

4

Campus Life is cool in collage. many cultural event takes place in our collage, every semester there is always a technical fest in which students from different universities come to participate and students get off from classes during event Recently tecnicia2025 tool place in university and it was great. There are more than 10 libraries in collage and every one of them is placed with books, journals and newspaper some have have many books some have less. Every classroom has projector installed and some multipurpose classrooms have wifi and power socket for laptop requirements of students Students participating in clubs and societies develop their personality and confidence. Our university have many clubs and societies like for gaming tech related iot and even art.

Hostel Facilities

2

My hostel is zakir d a 5 seater ac hostel in my room we have a bed with 2 compartments a study table and one almira. Food quality is average some times it is good and sometimes really bad it is not consistent but hygeine is really good in mess. Hostels can be opted directly while addmission and after coming to collage we have to fill form for allocation of room quite straightforward. There are many societies nearby where student take shared flat and they are good if you don't want any restriction and for good food.

Admission

Chandigarh University is closer to my home jaipur. It has really great connectivity to big cities like chandigarh delhi. And fees is quite affordable to other private universities providing btech. I have tried for vit vellore but It was far away from my home and event fees was expensive. I have not tried in top many collages and didn't want to go in local collages in my city jaipur. Admission process is quite simple in our collage you can fill application online in give scholarship exam and placement cell will further guide. There is no such eligibility for admission students can directly take addmission My admission process was quite straightforward

Faculty

4

Faculty to student ratio is really good and academics are good in my collage but it lacks to teach industry required skills and syllabus is kind of repeatitive there the some things we are studying from 1st sem to my current 5th sem My maths teacher in 1st year was very qualified and highly educated he guided me for further years. All the teacher I got were good some were strict and some were liniant. There are 3 exams per semester 2 mid sem and 1 end sem and there are 2 exams from practical subjects 1 mid sem practical and 1 end sem practical and they are directly based on syllabus.

Night Life

3

Night is life is not that good as a student living in hostel we are not allowed to go outside collage after 10pm and for girls hostel it is 8pm. There are cafeterias and canteen in hostels and collage but most of them closes after 11 and there are no 24 hours shops for student who want to buy stuff after midnight. We have make cafeterias in collage like food republic, it is a place in c1 block where there are more than 15 shops together in closed environment where students sit and eat during lunch and free time and there are more places like this corner cafe , pentagon in south block

Placement Experience:

Students generally become eligible for placement from 7th semester, with numerous major companies like wipro, cognizant and various tech startups visit the campus with various offers. The university sees a high percentage of students getting placed. The package are widely depending on various skill and codes. Furthermore while the highest package looks impressive on paper, the avg package remains modest for the majority of the batch. My personal plans after getting the degree focus on exploring independent entrepreneurial ventures rather than tradition corporate placement.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
