Jaypee is good enough when compared to other private colleges.

The placement of this course is good enough in our college. The syllabus is practical based which makes us ready for real life application. Various project based learning (PBL) are created for extra learning. Previously 3 exams were held per semester which has been changed to 2 from this year.

The internships are very very limited. Internships come in 3rd year but only 20-30 get on campus, others need to find off-campus. Intern is compulsory at end of 3rd year.This year, Google, Zscaler, Cisco, came for internship and took only around 2-4 people, we are waiting for more.

If the CPGA is good and have good skills then campus placement is almost confirm, but in recent situation even campus placement has become hard. Mass hiring companies with 3.6lpa are becoming more prominent. 90% sitiing in placement are placed and average is 9 lpa for CSE but lower for other courses. If unplaced then I will apply off campus while studying for GATE.

The yearly fees is around 3.5 lakhs excluding hostel which is of 1 lakh per semester. The caution deposit was 20,000 and admission fees was 75,000. All the fees are included in development fees which is around 40,000 per semester. You can check JIIT official website for recent fee structure for every course. There are various scholarship available- girl child, william webster merit cum need, and even aicte tuition fee waiver but everything is merit based.

Infrastructure is good, campus location is good for sector 62 campus but not for sector 128 campus. Clubs are active both for tech and non-tech creating good environment in college. But the fest is held only once a year, and no big artists are invited which makes everyone sad.

There is one common mess for all hostels. The food is really nice, just sometimes they mess it up. The hostel is still very expensive so people usually go for PG or flat from 2nd year. There are various flats and PGs in block B of sector 62. Now sector 128 is also constructing their hostel so 128 students wont have to travel up and down.

My first choice was JIIT. It has a good reputation in matters of regular classes, studies and placement. There is also merit based admission so the crowd is also good enough, which makes it different from other private colleges. Fees was high but it was worth it in long term.

Batches of 30 students are maintained for classes and one teacher is assigned 2 batches at a time for classes. There are around 15 batches and have more than enough teachers to teach them. Even some Phd scholars are arranged to take tutorial classes and doubt classes. The exams are very difficult compared to other colleges.

College closing time is 9 pm. While hostel closing time for girls is 10 pm and for boys is none, they can roam in campus. Libraries are open till 9-10pm. Cafes are closed around 8 pm which is opening time of mess for dinner. Gyms can be accessed till 10 pm.
