Remarks

I can't say all negative but yeah there were some negative points. Like frequently changing administration policies. Discrimination between local students and outside students. This is the issue of everywhere. Overall Everything was fine.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Course curriculum was not much hard but it was a short period of college tuition before every semester. The course was divided into 8 semesters. Each semester having at least 5 subjects. There were two parts of the results. The first part of 40% given by college via assignment, attendance, practical, viva and internal exam. Other part was of 60% given by University according to the external examination, practical, project and vivas.

Placement Experience

0.5

There is lack of placement and job opportunities. But yeah they provide paid internship. Overall it was an average experience. No stipend provided instead they charged for the internship. So in my opinion it is useless to expect job opportunities from college rather than go and seek yourself.

College Events

3.5

We have so many events, like holi, kizen cultec festivals, sports events. Some events even organised by local Punjabi community. Sometimes we go for trips and industrial visits. Overall it was amazing experience during my college days.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is a bit expensive as compared to the facilities provided. So I would recommend some better college with a little more fee. For a middle class family it is difficult to manage this fee structure.

Fees and Financial Aid

There was post matric scholarship which were provided by my State government. College didn't provide me any scholarships. But they help a lot in getting me this post matric scholarship. They followed up with each student until they submit their post matric scholarship.

Campus Life

4.5

There were few curricular activities like Gym, football and volleyball and cricket. Sometimes we even have singing competition. There were three play grounds according to the age group and games. We even have basketball court.

Hostel Facilities

1.5

Yeah I stayed whole course time in hostel. Infrastructure is good. There is poor water and food quality. There is separate hostel for boys and girls. There is AC in hostel rooms as per hostel fee. In my opinion the food quality should be improved and there should be filtered water.

Alumni/Alumna

Some senior members are so helpful but they are very few others don't show interest at all. Some even tried to threaten you about your carrier going to be dark in this College. So better not to engage so much with seniors. Ofcourse good seniors are always there to help and guide.

Admission

One of my friend's sister told me as she was working in a consultation firm. It was very simple to take admission. I deposited the hostel fee and admission fee along with required documents. They reviewed and informed me to join college and the there further process were carried out.

Faculty

3

They were nice and supportive. They always came up with new ideas of teaching and making us understand very well. They have deep knowledge of their fields. Some facilities were very good at knowledge but few were below the parameters.

Many companies send their placement forms this year. But each selected a max of 2-3 candidates only. In the strength of 76, 15 got placed on campus this year. Selection rates or placements criteria were too low.

Focusing on student's attendence rather than focusing on students concepts. College is not focusing in development of students only paperwork is done. No conceptul teaching nor practical. By doing this stuff we can get a btech degree but not the knowledge a btech student should have.
