Likes
- The Mess food is great unlike other colleges , everything is branded when it comes to packaged food.
- The labs are good enough to accommodate students unlike other IIITS of same tier where there are 4 people together doing the same experiment
- We have our own temporary campus and for first year even we don't have to share rooms with a lot of people there will 2 people each
Dislikes
- Less interaction between seniors and juniors ,there is no senior who can guide to their juniors about how to crack placements and what are the opportunities we have in the market and industry right now.
- The place itself , manipur begin under presidential rule have no government of itself so after 8 PM you are locked in your rooms , no online order no library nothing
Course Curriculum Overview
1.CSE (AIDS) 2.It does not prepare you have to do everything by yourself. 3.Shifting in the new campus and hiring new teachers and involving more coding culture in the campus 4.5 weeks a day for 4 hours averrage is the class hours
Fees and Financial Aid
The semster wise is 2 lakhs rupees monthly and coming and goin back cost is expensive because everytime you have to book a flight for it and yes there are various scholarships for obc/sc/st an gen ews through which your entire fees will be waived off and there are banks who provide loans for the student so you dont have pay anything from the pocket . The scholarships are VIDYALAKSHMI SCHOLARSHIP and NSP
Campus Life
1.they only have one technical fest and AHOUBA Fest and held in even semsters 2.You will just get all the academic books no other books apart from it 3. We have smart board and good classrooms for sure i mean yeah this is good and better than most IIIT 4.Sports facilites are the worst no equipments given by the college we have ground just only one it is too less to fulfill the demands of the entire college 4. There are many groups but none of them are actively participate they just come out during any function or program
Admission
1.MY rank was the reason i came and i need AIDS so no other college was giving me this branch i mean any other IIIT because i got 75 k rank 2.Through CSAB/JOSAA counselling and u have to give JEE Exam for it
Faculty
Faculty to student ration may be 1:40 , some faculties are really good but the majority is just there for taking class they don't really care about that if the student is really even understanding the concept. Sumit Kumar Rano and the head of Student council because they teach really good and they are always available after the class for our academic and non academic doubts. Apart from them no other faculty are enough to be liked . there are 3 assessments consisiting of 25 marks each holding a weightage of 50% and one end semster examination of 100 marks , 50% weightage. It is not that hard if you have a good image in the collge they will any how pass you
Night Life
1.Nothing after 6 girls are inside room and after 8 bboys 2.KK South thali is a good place so yeah you can go there and enjoy some south indian food 3. THe college closed off after 8 pm so you can not go anywhere after that
