What Students Say

Likes

The college environment was friendly and safe, and I made good friends on campus.
Some teachers explained topics clearly and helped students during exams.
The syllabus helped me understand basic technical concepts well. The placement cell gave basic training and interview guidance.

Dislikes

More of an practical learning and they need to provide real world knowledge.
And also some classes were boring as there will be only theory teaching.
Campus events and activities were not conducted regularly.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the curriculum at VIT-AP University as relevant and fairly comprehensive. Core subjects and electives influenced my choice. It builds basics for jobs and higher studies, but needs more practical projects. Exams are frequent (CATs and FAT) with moderate difficulty.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 150000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Category 1:2L tution fee And for hostel it's between 60k-2L and there will be no other fee other than that and for hostel they will provide you various bed types (Ac/NAc) and the hostel fee depends on the bed type and mess type we select.

Campus Life

Campus life at VIT-AP University is active and engaging. Annual fest like Vitopia and technical events are usually held in February–March. The library has good books and journals. Classrooms are smart with projectors and Wi-Fi. Sports, clubs, and student portals help social interaction.

Admission

I chose VIT-AP University for its brand name, structured curriculum, and decent placements compared to other colleges I applied to. I also applied to a few local colleges but preferred VIT-AP. Admission was through VITEEE with basic eligibility, online counseling, and a smooth process.

Faculty

At vit ap faculty and student ratio is around 1:40 and most of the teachers are approachable and helpful during all the time and it's a credit based curriculum and we need to change classroom for every subject ,and exams include cat,and fat and fait marking system.

Night Life

Nightlife at VIT-AP University is limited. Hostels usually close by 10–11 PM. Gym, library, and cafeterias close early. Students relax in hostels, campus areas, or nearby food stalls. Outside hangouts are few, but the locality is generally safe at night.

Dislikes

management is giving equal opportunities to everyone . What I felt is they should concentrate on toppers.
college management won't allow students to go out side of the campus without permission

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in my college are good and provide students reasonable career opportunities Approximately 70% of students got placed in the campus recruitment. the campus is located in a backward town
there is a language barrier as telugu people don't speak a good english
food is not good on the maximum days . north indians feel very diificulty in eating south indian food

Course Curriculum Overview:

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial. The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate. If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful
