Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course curriculum can is well structured and has improved over years. We are being taught latest technologies in subjects like Web Developement. As student of Data Science, I wish the university added tools like PowerBI and Tableu to the course. These subjects are important for real world application but are not a part of our syllabus. Our exams occur twice in a semester, and the exams are conducted within a week (one after the other)

Internships Opportunities

3

The college recently organised an internship drive for all students of all programms. Some internships were unpaid, while some offered full time placement based on performance. The outcomes were that multiple studnets got placed. I was dissapointed with the lack of number of openings for roles such as Web Developer, Data Analyst.

Placement Experience

2

Students usually sit for internships by their second year. There is a CGPA criteria of 8.0, students below this threshold are not elilgible to sit for placdements. From my knowledge, the highest package for K.R. Mnagalam has been 56LPA, but it was an off campust placement. About 80% of students get placed across courses but one must posses excellent skill set to secure placement. There companies dont offer very high packages though. After my degree I am planning to get a Job.

Fees and Financial Aid

I secured a 25% annual scholorship based on grade 12 marks (i.e. 83%). Paid an application fee of 1000 rupees. Alumini fee of 2000 rupees. Bus facility charges of 25000 rupees per semester. My semester fee is 65000 rupees and I will get 12.5% of it back as my scholorhsip amount. I paid a refundable security deposit of 10,000 rupees. My registration fee was about 25000 and was adjusted with my sem1 fees.

Campus Life

4

SOLESTA is our freshers party that is organised every year and it invites talented artists every year. This year Jasmin Sandals has been invited to perform, the registration fee for the event is 500 rupees. The university keeps organising events regulary, such as hackathon, dance competions, debate competitoins etc. About the Library, it is well equipped with books and borrowing of books is an easy process. The library is quite big, air conditioned. We also have a digital library where students can study on university computers. Sports club of KRMU is active and has been winning multiple competions. The sports facilities are in optimal conditon and we have multiple options to choose from.

Admission

I applied for Delhi University and got B.Sc. (Hons) Statistics in Gargi College. I did not go for DU because it was very far from my home and did not provide bus facility like K.R. Mangalanm. The washrooms in DU are not very hygienic and it was a very a big concern for me. I got my admission by applying on the university website and booking a meeting with an admission counselor. We then discussed about the course and finalised our decesion by paying the admission fee.

Faculty

5

For my course the student teacher ratio is 37:1, which is quite managable. My teachers are honestly supportive and teach well. There is no teacher I dislike in particular, they all have their own style of teaching. Every semester has 3 types of exams: 1) Lab Test/ Internal assesments - easy to moderate 2) Mid Term exams- medium to difficult 3) End Term- moderate to diffcult

Night Life

5

I am a day scholar and don't use the hostel so can't say much about the night life. But I did stay for a late night fest and honestly it was one of the best times. My favourite spot is sitting in the sunked garden. The A block canteen is famous hangout place and remains crowded during rush hours. I am a big fan of the chineese food van.

Other Applied Colleges

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities in B.Pharm are reasonable good but along side we students must focus on developing our own real world skills, the faculty help us to grow with industry ready skills. Good placement options are available in QA,QC, RnD, Pharmacovigilence department. According to me placement cell of KRMU is supportive but they unable to attract good placement packages. Avg package in B.Pharm is around 4-4.5L /year

Placement Experience:

I feel pretty secure about my career because our training opens door that normal degrees just can't match. Our seniors land roles as risk analysts and foreign policy researchers, even secruing great spots at top think tanks right after graduation. Some even interned at Niiti Consulting, and others got into ShowTime Consulting and Stimuler. Seeing people land roles at Lead Tech and the BCG Graduate Apprenticeship Program gives me massive confidence for placements.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Placement Experience:

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Say anything about this college but i will not suggest to take BCA in this college. In other hand all teachers are giving their 100 to taught students better in College. I think they have to use digital service to teach im doing BCA and they still teaching like am taught by a school classrom by a school teacher.
