Course Curriculum Overview

3

Well i choose this course because I didn't got what I wanted. Many students are from arts background who got this course because they had no option. The curriculum is same as school all chapters and everything. The law section is new. About buisness and law and everything. Rest is same. Changes in curriculum is not in their hands. But if they could actually change the accounting syllabus. The timing of exams is normal 2:30 to 6:30. And internal test taken by perspective teacher are according to their time and class. They will take retest incase you didn't attended.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is kinda really good. Even u are late to pay the fees of your second year they won't cancel the admission they will send u emails. And keep contacts with h to complete procedure. The fees of bcom is 25700. They will ask for admit card fee. To get the admit card you have to pay seperately which is 1500. The fees is not increasing they might ask u to pay extra if your are late but they won't increase the fees.

Campus Life

2

Du fest and some others where they do normal college things. Dance, and what not. I never attend them. Also freshers which is even worse like it feels you are in a village shaadi. Better not to attend if you want a good experience. The books are really impressive. You can issue as many books you want from your I'd card given by college. There is nothing technological in the college the computer never works in a computer room itself. There's no ac and no lights sometimes. Average goverment college experience. And sone classes are too small that you can't even go inside. Students are standing to aftent a class. About extracurricular they actually do things. So pretty impressive but I have never seen them in dance or something. The other colleges who are listed after shyam lal are still better in these things. Not many students participate in these. Yes students run their groups and club it's just help them to not attend classes. Nothing else. They do elections and actually enjoy it. The people enjoying this aren't from Delhi they are wanna be delhite. The only impact is "how to disturb others mental health and show off".

Admission

I wanted to pursue Bachelor of Computer applications. I applied in GGISPU. It's a private college and my rank was 300 among 2000 students who reapplied. I was given Jagannath college but due to fee and dates i didn't got it. Du was second option. I never wanted to be part of government college because they were very far. The government college i wanted was in pitampura but I didn't got it too. The admission process Cuet If you didn't filled the cuet form so they open it again. Fill that form. They keep reopening the admission forms. For a while even if you miss. I only gave three exams Ip English Ge that's it. The admission experience was very messy because I got it at the last stage. When the admission was about to close. After that the admission were closed.

Faculty

3

The faculty is a mix - Sone teachers are too chill that they will accept your test or assignment Any time you decide. Some teachers are to rude that even u complete everything on time and do things according to them they will be very unprofessional. Buisness Studies Management law There were the best faculty. They were good. The accounting teachers were really bad. The female teachers are better than male. They are friendly and helpful. There are 5 exams and 2 other subjects that are called vac and sec. You will get options to decide the vac and sec. The exams are easy. And even the internal test. The course curriculum is just relevant to get the degree. Nothing else pretty boring. The students only fail when they don't attempt. So even if you attempt you pass.

Night Life

1

The night life is still unsafe. As there's no office or big companies arround and u will see police every where. The cases of robbery and many things are active. There's literally a big fishy market it's so bad. Just use welcome station don't even try to use shahdara one. I'm not from hostel but campus timing are according to your course. If it's a morning time then your last class will be at 2 only. There's no famous hangout places.

Placement in SRCC is very amazing, and way beyond the placements of DU colleges. A lot of big big names in Finance, and consulting domain, recruit from campus including McKinsey & Co., Bain & Company, Kearney, Big 4s and all. Highest package is 35+ LPA and Average Package is 10 LPA. I HAVE PLANNED TO complete my ACCA along with a little work experience.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Although, people say that B.Com doesn't have a great scope to it, I feel like there are many life lessons that we are taught during our college years. Since the introduction of NEP 2020, there has been a rather great emphasis on practical learning. In our college, we are asked for presentations and group projects to promote learning and communication. The presence of SEC and VAC also helps you develop your soft skills, groom your personality and live a happy and healthy life. Exams are help at the end of every semester. There are a few guides and PYQs with the help of which a student can prepare for these exams. They are relatively easy in my opinion and do not require extreme efforts. Overall, it's a great experience and a great opportunity to learn so many things.

Placement Experience:

In the context of a fictional scenario, the placement scenario would depend on the specific college within Delhi University. Some colleges have robust placement cells that facilitate campus placements with various companies. The placement scenario can vary, and it's advisable to check with the specific college for accurate and up-to-date information.

I choose b.Com because I am from a commerce background. It is an open college class held only on Sundays classrooms are good but washrooms are average. Teachers are experienced and well-educated. Exams are held on every 6 months semester wise you have to study hard to clear exams.
