Course Curriculum Overview

it offers a strong balance of theoretical and practical learning. It prepares students well for real-world applications as well as competitive and higher education entrance exams. The curriculum can be improved by including more technical and skill-based sessions.

Internships Opportunities

Survey of india, Bharathidhasan university and some other intitutes provide internship opportunities. This enhances our technical skills in our subject and enrich our knowledge. This is helpfu for our future studies

Placement Experience

Students are eligible for campus interviews feom 6th semester. Companies like aditya Birla, tata, cognizant and many pther companies visit and there is 100% placement. My plan is to pursue higher studies after degree

Fees and Financial Aid

The approximate fee for my course was ₹12,000 per year. Fee concessions were provided based on the student's community/category (such as SC, ST, BC, MBC, etc.) In addition, scholarships and financial assistance, including community-based government scholarships and merit or merit-cum-need scholarships, were available for eligible students throughout the course.

Campus Life

Starting from pongal till Christmas all the festivals are celebrated. Nirmala college library has a wide range of bioks and journals. Smart classrooms are available.NCC, NSS, and all other extracurricular activities are held.

Hostel Facilities

The room is accomodated by three persons with cots and shelves. Common bathrooms and toilets are there. Seperate persons are assigned to clean the hostel premises. The hostel fees payments are done through online and resonable amount is collected

Admission

I applied for History at PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore and got selected, but my interests are more towards Geography. Nirmala College is considered one of the best colleges for Geography. There were no specific subject preferences mentioned for this course, and students who have passed Class 12 with any stream are eligible to apply.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good, and the faculty members are approachable, supportive, and explain concepts clearly. I liked most of the faculty for their friendly nature and I did not have any negative experience with any faculty member. The assessment includes two internal exams, assignments, seminars, and a semester exam. The exams are of moderate difficulty and most students pass with regular preparation. The curriculum is relevant and practical.

Night Life

The hostel is a safe and peaceful environment where students hangout after their dinner. All the essentials items are available inside the hostel this shop is run by students during evening time, and computer centre is also within the hostel premises useful for students to do their studies

Most of the classes are not in a proper condition of on going process, students are jumping out of classes and doesn't attend proper classes.exams should be sheduled with proper timing students from far away are in hurry to end up clg .

Likes

There are many courses including post graduation.
Faculties are well expertise and has good mentorship quality
The fees are affordable to pay for the course I have selected

Dislikes

Need to improve the infrastructure of the college
Crowded canteen it would be better if we have one more
There is some hygienic issues in the washrooms could be better if it is hygiene

The main thing I liked in this college is the level of placements.there is more placements compared to the other colleges.
Some of the staffs are knowledgeable and provide good information apart from syllabus for knowledge
Best for girl students studying and their safety

Dislikes

The campus isn't that good evening though the college has many space and the only thing they focus on is study.
The parking facility is very bad doesn't have enough space to park the vehicle freely and is not even a evenly concerted place just a sandy place with trees and rocks and for that we need to pay 4 rupees daily which is not worthy at all.
The canteen doesn't have any snacks worst

Placement Experience:

From semester 4 they train students for placement and they train all the students without any discrimination many companies come for placement.my plan after getting degree is to work in abroad and after learning start my own business

The course is very interesting, it has a lot of cool subjects such as developmental psychology which teaches about the stages of life. We have biological psychology and basic psychology. We also have experimental psychology in which we have practicals. There are many more subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'm mostly interested in mathematics so I choose it. The faculty is average but it is safe for girls so the student ratio will increase. The teachers are well-trained and the teaching method is like spoon-feeding. There are 6 semesters per year to conduct 2 semesters of exams. Mathematics contains five subject papers. There is no difficulty to pass it's too easy.
