Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is designed with more focus on industry experience and education. Teachers have enough industry knowledge themselves and give us good idea about scope of a field and it's problems. Regular sessions are conducted to give the students a real taste of industry world. Recently we had our Industry Summit, where more than 15 industry experts visited our campus and gave amazing insights to us about the current job market and its future. It was heavily based on AI and we learnt a lot. The curriculum could use more of Hands on activites apart from Labs. (Like simulation, geogebra etc...) in which way we could understand it more clearly. Internal exams and SEM are a month apart in the whole duration of the sem. The SEM starts slow but ends quick with practicals and SEM exam coming right after each other. But the exam is manageable with enough preparation and enough attention paid in classes.

Internships Opportunities

4

Many startups and newer companies reach out very often. But apart from that, we have an dedicated internship cell which constantly updates us about internship opportunities in Google, microsoft etc and abroad opportunities like germany. NPTEL internship is also very popular

Placement Experience

5

From the very entry into your third year, you will be eligible to most of the placements. The training provided is very exquisite and some of the trainings start as early as 1st year. 2026 highest package was 55LPA. Many companies like from product companies like Microsoft, Capgemini to service based companies like TCS, INFOSYS etc.. visit our campus for regular placements. About 98% of people placed as far as I have heard.

Fees and Financial Aid

2 - 2.5 Lakhs per annum, Tuition fees - 25000 CDC - 25000 and etc... Most of the categories have the same fee structure only except for some variations in tution fee. All government scholarships available

Campus Life

4

CampuLife's Talentia, Fresher's Swagat, Our CSE Dept Flagship event Kratos and many more are some of the peak highlights...These usually happen in the odd sem.The even SEM is exclusively reserved for amazing Concerts.Last year we had Santhosh Narayanan coming over and it was an absolute blast

Admission

No, didn't apply to any other colleges other than EEC. Primarily because this was the closest college to my home and affiliated with Anna University. The admission process involves both counselling and management quota. CBSE and State board are the major exams attended by most of the students in our college. Apart from that, some ICSE and IGCSE are present. The cutoff is around 185 and overall the admission process wnet quite smooth for me.

Faculty

5

Faculty to student ratio is 1:60. They are all very friendly and get along with this. They not only teach but also guide us to opportunities in research and talk about very scope lies. Our Hod sir Dr.Cloudin always keep encouraging the students and played a very important role in turning the CSE dept into a student driven community. Heeds to all the students' ideas and makes the best out of them. From the execution of IIS, IET challenge to Leetcode summercamp program evrything was planned and executed thoroughly under the guidance of our Hod sir. I am a OB member in the main Club behind these event's execution. So I can genuinely say he is such a wonderful leader. Then Our class Co Jenifer Prince mam. She was the one who encouraged us and also contributed in making our first IP idea. She gives the nudge to do things out of the ordinary. Really love her for that. Two internal exams called CAT and unit test for some subjects with a specific code. Apart front hat we have other split ups for internals including Group presenation and assignment etc.The SEM is slightly tough but manageable with enough preparation

Night Life

4

I'm not a hosteller. So don't know mush about the night life of our hostellers. But as far as I have heard, people say it's very vibrant and TRP OAT is the best hanging out place preceding our green canteen and basketball court. The locality is generally safe considering its in the middle of the city and surrounded by many police stations

Campanies like Jubilant food works, Zifo Technologies, Amura Heath Pvt.Ltd, Biocon etc. were some of the companies that visited our campus. Around fifty students got offers from these companies. About 70 percentage of the students got placements successfully. I am planning to pursue a master degree abroad

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is fairly relevant and comprehensive, covering both theoretical concepts and practical applications. It provides a good foundation for technical knowledge, but including more industry-oriented projects, hands-on training, and updated technologies would make it even better for future career opportunities.
