Likes

The university provides many opportunities for you to participate in clubs and other fests or events. It is a great way to showcase your talents and make more friends. Attendance is also not an issue as it is covered up for if you participate.
The campus is based in a secluded and scenic location among greenery and trees. It is a great source of fresh air and a great way to live and active and healthy lifestyle. Even during winters, it is not as polluted in comparison to delhi or nearby.
The teachers interact with you on a personal and one on one basis letting you clear all your doubts clearly.

Course Curriculum Overview

Since physics is a very relevant and ivolving field, the curriculum is set such that is includes the new concepts as well as the basics of the field too. Subjects such as material physics, astrophysics are also included in curriculum to boost student participation.

Class Size: 12Course Fees: INR 75000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the overall tuition fees would be around 75000. If you opt for hostel it would be around 110000 per year. Scholarships are provided for tuition fees on basis of bsc result for an msc degree, an 12th result for a bsc degree in the relevant field.

Campus Life

Amifest and Sangathan are the major events happening in our college. With many clubs and events always going on, students genuinely have too many options to choose from. Be it any technical club or sports club, amity has it all.

Admission

I choose this college because i had deep interest in material physics and the faculty here have great expertise in it. Also the location makes it a great plus since you can live away from all the noise and chaos of the city.

Faculty

Since our student no. Is less, the student to teacher ratio is good enough for everyone to have a personal and one on one interaction with the teachers. The exams are taken semesterly with 2 midsem exams per semester.

Night Life

Dosa plaza, cafe blossom, deja are the majow cafeteria and hangout places for students. There is not much to explore around college but the city is not far away, so one can easily enjoy the night life and free time hanging out with their friends.

Likes

I like the campus mornings where i can see the rising sun early morning and i really love the chirpings of bird early morning. it gives a sense of refreshment for a new day
i like when i am busy with the various events and research opportunities i have.

Dislikes

there's not really anything that i dislike. some things could be disturbing but doesnt make it dislike.
i sometimes dislike hostel food because it becomes monotonous sometimes.

Placement Experience:

The college placement is also good. DPS is one of the top recruiters in psychology. There are many others clinics and ngos that do provide placement opportunities to students here. Average package ranges from 2-4lpa.

I liked that teachers are very heplful and supportive

My home is too far and i am a day scholar
I have to travel a lot to attend the classes
I do not get the time for self study due to college timings

I am very interested in Physics especially th physics based on practical life or projects so i have decided to do my masters with physics and then i found Amity. And i am glad to join Amity University.

Likes

Well lighted classrooms , with full air conditioned
Library full of variety of books and comfortable sitting and quiet place
Events and clubs managed by students in Amity universisty gurugram

Dislikes

Attendance system is not good , 75 % attendace is not good , it is so strict , which is not good

We have 2 semesters in a year and each semester have 2 mid term exams and one final end term examinations on the basis of which our result is made , it has a very good system of providing the result on amizone account

Overall good experience in Amity University Haryana

Likes

The professors are very knowledgeable and supportive.
Internship opportunities are of wide range and students can freely choose according to their interest.
The infrastructure, library is exceptional. The outlets inside the campus are useful too.

Placement Experience:

Placement process from the beginning of 2nd year itself. Hospitals like Fortis, Medanta, max visit. And companies like Mankind, Ozone do too. Average package for hospitals is 4LPA 100% students get placed. I'm planning to pursue Phd after this.

The adventures campus

Course Curriculum Overview:

We had regular workshops and seminars that was the bestttt decision to choose this course. The curriculum had the real exposure to students for the real world. We had mandatory internships to do. areas that need improvement is only the placements rest evrything is fine .

Nature of faculty members I mean teachers are approachable
The canteen has improved a lot over time. Earlier, the food quality was not as good, but after the new tender was given, the canteen started providing much better and hygienic food with good quality.
The library is very helpful for studies as it provides a wide range of books. Since there is no single book for MSc, students refer to multiple books, and the library offers books from different authors, which makes studying easier and more effective.

Dislikes

The college maintains cleanliness across the campus, and the washrooms are cleaned regularly. There is also scope for maintaining freshness and cleanliness standards more consistently in some areas to enhance the overall student experience.
Another area that can be improved is campus cleanliness. Sometimes pet waste around the building areas is not cleaned promptly, and more regular cleaning would help maintain a cleaner and more comfortable campus environment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The main reason I chose this course was my interest in it. I have always been interested in learning about plants, studying them, and understanding them in depth, which motivated me to choose this stream. The teachers who taught me were experienced and supportive throughout the course. The lab sessions also provided valuable practical exposure. Overall, the syllabus was completed very well, and every topic was taught in detail and with proper understanding.

First of all the campus of our department that i liked most that is too near and clean and the building that is green license certified.
The Teaching Staff that is also good and helpful. All the teachers are give their best to clear up all the doubts that the students asked them.
All over the P.hd scholars that are too good they also help us in performing experiments and gives ideas for the better future and a happy life.

Dislikes

sometimes i don’t like the parking area because it is divided into two parts that is students park their vehicles in their area of teachers park in their area.
Sometimes the fin activities organised in our department that are to limited and having many restrictions.
The park that is sometimes not maintained earlier.

Placement Experience:

After completing third semester students become eligible for the campus placements. Their are several companies visited in our campus that is Jindal steels, Mineslab service pvt.ltd and many more. Highest Package of the campus is approx 8 lakh. My plan after getting degree to join an NGO for making environment good.

The facilities of my department and there behaviour with students
Syllabus is quite good and appropriate for future too.
We can select one general elective subject of our own choice

Dislikes

The location of the university. It is in interior
Transportation facilities is very poor. It's is difficult to travel accross university
The local of the area are not good. So, sometimes girls feel uncomfortable. The ratio of boys and girls in our class is same

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually I was always interested in environment so I decided to take it. The curriculum is well designed as we have to study the all current situation of environment and their issues. Experiment part is not upto the mark The exam frequency is fast. But is not so difficult because everything comes inside the syllabus only.

All over Good experienced. I advices that you can take admission in college. This is good for good student. If you attend the class regularly definitely you will get good awards . So this is the right place to get higher education
