Linkoping University has offered admission to students since 1975 and has become one of the largest universities to study in Sweden. In three Swedish cities, Linkoping University has four campuses. It offers about 120 bachelor's, master’s, and doctoral courses in fields such as arts, humanities, industry, management, economy, engineering, and computer science, the environment, medicine, the health sciences, the natural sciences, and education.

Visa Process for International Students

Applicants may need a Swedishresidency permit or right of residency for studying at Linköping University for more than 3 months. Students are advised to apply well in advance to ensure that your request is processed in due course. As soon as applicants are admitted to the University, they must begin to arrange the paperwork to ensure it's all in order on time to arrive.

  1. Applicants must pay the first installment of their tuition fees. Once this is done, the application will be processed.

The selection of students is based on academic merit and letter of intent. Every applicant must submit a letter of intent describing the reason for the choice of program and summarizing the bachelor’s studies or any academic activity related to the program of choice. The notification for selection will be sent in the beginning of April.
