At the University of the West of England, the admission process is on a rolling basis. However, students are encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible in order to provide sufficient time for processing.

University of the West of England International Admissions

The university enrolls around 4000 international students every year. The admission process for international students is slightly different than that of domestic students. Undergraduate students can apply using two ways:-

The university offers a wide range of English Language courses, designed for international students. These courses are specifically for students who need to improve their English language skills in order to undertake a course of Higher Education at UWE Bristol.

Visa Process

If a student is from a country outside the European Economic Area (EEA) or Switzerland and wants to study a course that lasts more than six months must obtain a Tier-4 student visa. Students should apply no more than three months before the start of their course.

Decisions on undergraduate full time applications will be transmitted to UCAS through the University’s admissions system. Once a decision has been entered, it is available to be viewed by the applicant through UCAS Track and the Welcome website. Students applying through UWE Bristol online portal can accept their acceptance offer by logging on to their UWE Bristol Welcome Website and clicking on the 'My Offer Response' option in the 'My Application' tab. If a student has applied through UCAS, he/ she can accept the admission offer by logging onto UCAS Track and selecting 'Reply to your offers'.
