International applicants planning to apply for a undergraduate program the University of Glasgow are required to submit their UCAS applications before June 30.

Unlike the UG applications, the university does not have any common deadline for postgraduate admissions. The application deadlines vary for several postgraduate programs.

University of Glasgow invites applications to several of its Undergraduate Programs in Accounting & Finance, Aerospace Systems, Biomedical Engineering, Economics & Social History, etc.

Admission Requirements: For Postgraduate taught programs, the admission requirements are country-specific. Applicants are advised to check the requirements before starting their applications. Admission requirements of few countries are given below:

  • Applicants from India:
    • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
    • At least 1st division across all years of undergraduate study.
  • Applicants from Japan:
    • Undergraduate degree from a recognised Japanese University.
    • Minimum overall GPA of 3.0 (or 80%)
  • Applicants from Pakistan:
    • Completion of 4-year study from an HEC recognised institute.
    • Minimum CGPA of 3 out of 4.

Visa Requirements for International Students

International applicants must have the Tier 4 visa clearance for almost six months while applying for the courses. For Tier 4, aspirants must have 40 points:

  • 30 points - A valid Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) from a Tier 4 sponsor
  • 10 points - Enough money for college tuition, application fee, and living costs.

Applicants should note that applying for visa costs around 348 Pounds. It is recommended that the applicants apply for visa at least 3 months prior to the start of course. The following documents are required for the visa:

  • Passport and travel documentation
  • Financial support proof
  • A tuberculosis test result.
