Visa Process for International Students

A valid visa is required to study in UK. Admitted students need to apply to the UK immigration authorities under Tier 4 of the Points Based System (PBS).They must meet the requirements of the Immigration Rules which are in force on the date that you submit your immigration application. The steps to be followed for visa application are as follows:

  1. ATAS Clearance certificate (if required)
  2. Request a ‘Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies’ (CAS) number
  3. Make sure that you have all required documents-
    1. Valid passport
    2. ATAS clearance certificate (if required)
    3. Evidence of qualifications listed on CAS
    4. Proof of English language requirements
    5. Receipts for tuition fees or accommodation costs.
    6. Translations of documents that are not in English
  4. Complete the application form & pay immigration health surcharge (if applicable).
  5. Book an appointment at VAC (if required)
  6. Attend VAC and pay the application fee.
  7. Attend an interview.
  8. Wait for the visa approval.

University of Strathclyde Undergraduate Admission

The university offers more than 200 undergraduate programs to all the applicants. The basic admission process for all courses is the same.

  • Translation of the documents are required who are not in English

The Admission Committee considers only completed applications. Applicants must make sure to submit the application form and all the required supporting documents. Generally, applicants will receive an admission decision within two weeks of submission of application.
