I did not receive any scholarship, as I was late with the application. Every international student can apply for a scholarship that would be mentioned on the University website. They'll be awarded an amount between 3 and 5 lakhs based on their SOP written for the same purpose. Yes, my friends received 3 lakhs and 4 lakhs, respectively. There's no average count of students receiving scholarships until you apply on time and your SOP stands out.

I found my accommodation through one of my friends.
It was an Off-campus living space only for students. An ensuite room with a shared kitchen with 4 other students. The facilities included were study rooms, a laundry room, a movie room, a gym, a gaming area, and a party room, all with good security. I paid approximately 45000 rupees per month.
Personally I didn't face any challenges while finding an accommodation because:
1. you always can choose University accommodation but it's a little expensive than private accommodation
2. It is easier to find private accommodations on any social media platform, and even the University could help you.
It is always better to Join university groups and Facebook groups to know better and always talk to previous students through your social media or LinkedIn. They can help you way better than anybody when it comes to accommodation.
My accommodation was a 5-minute walk from the University. Most Indian students stayed in such Living spaces and were not more than a 15 minute walk from the University.

University accommodation is for limited students , so need to find housing in the private sector.
Some programs have very busy schedule and less flexibilty.
Need to pay separate fees to access sport facility on the campus.

My agent actually suggested the accommodation where I did stay for one year during my master's. And that was pretty good and the manager and staff were really welcoming. Choose sharing flats rather than studios or en suites, which are a bit costlier. But again, finding compatible roommates can be tough. Accommodation near to university campuses is costlier, so prefer staying a bit away and use transport or even one can prefer to walk.

Campus security and safety was top notch. Also student housing was just walking distance, most of them only few steps away.
Had an amazing library, we had a full library with all kinds of resources.
They had a great student body, life at Strathclyde was great.

There wasn't much that I didn't like about Strathclyde
Maybe I would have preferred more career opportunities for International students
It would be great if we had a stronger guidance program for overseas students as it was a new job market for us

Job placement is tricky for international students; most of my classmates weren't able to secure the job of their choice. Despite the abundance of opportunities in the IT industry and IT-related jobs, job placement remains challenging for international students. If you have a technology or IT background, you're more likely to secure a job.

Not a covered campus, there is main road between buildings.

40% of the batch got the job within 6 months; sometimes, it's hard to get your desired job in 6 months. average salary is around 30 to 40 thousand pounds. Students get a job through references and from websites like Linkedin and Indeed. In my batch, the lowest salary offered was 25 thousand pounds, and the highest was 80 thousand pounds, again it varies on the experience of the individual.

I applied through an online platform and stayed at Kyle Park House, which is run by Unite Students. I did this before coming to the UK. Usually, they have flexible payment plans and you can book first and then pay as per their given payment dates. I did not face challenges due to booking in advance. The recommendation would be to sort out these matters before coming to the UK to avoid any hassles.

Self motivation to succeed in this program

Scholarship

I got the Goa Education Trust Scholarship (British Council of India), which partially covered my tuition with £11,000. Along with the scholarship application, my school transcripts, and recommendation letters from both University and then employer, I had to attend an interview.

The course offered was the first of its kind. A one-year Master's program that allowed me to continue working as it was part-time and distance learning. I always wanted to study law, but as I had pursued the sciences, I did not think it would be possible. The University of Strathclyde provided me with this amazing opportunity and I wasn't going to turn it down. The faculty was exceptional, and the overall learning experience was truly wonderful. My classmates were from different parts of the world and their knowledge and personal experiences with tackling climate change issues added to my learning.
