King's College London Admission 2021, Requirement, Deadline & Acceptance Rate
King’s College London offers more than 450 programs at undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. International students planning to apply for admission at King’s College London are required to follow the established guidelines and submit their applications before the deadlines. The basic admission guidelines for overseas students are:
- Application: UG applications can be made through ‘UCAS’ and PG applications on the University’s online portal.
- Application fee: Postgraduate courses- 40 GBP ; MBBS- 100 GBP

- The Indian High School Leaving Certificate (from CBSE and CISCE boards only) at the end of standard XII will generally be considered for direct entry onto undergraduate programs with an overall average score of 80% and 90%.

To gain permission to enter the UK as a student from outside the European Economic Area, it is likely a student will need to apply for a Tier 4 Student Visa in UK. The student must hold an unconditional offer from King’s to apply for a visa. Once received the unconditional offer, KCL will issue the student with a Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) number, which is required in order to apply for the Tier 4 student visa.
To apply for a visa the international students are also required to show that they have sufficient funds to cover their tuition fees and maintenance

Out of the recommendation letters, one needs to be academic. Professional references will be accepted if the applicant has completed their qualifications over five years ago.
Applications remain open after the deadline if places are available but the programs will be closed as soon as they are full, so applicants are advised to submit their application as early as possible. All qualifications and institutions of the applicant are cross-checked on the UK NARIC databases (National Recognition Information Centre, which is the national agency for the recognition and comparison of international qualifications). If a particular institution or qualification is not on this list, King’s College would not consider the application.
Ques: Can I apply to more than one course at King's?
Ans: Yes you can apply for more than one course. You may be required to pay multiple application fees for each program. If you receive offers for both you will only be able to accept one of these.
Ques: I have relevant work experience - will this help my application?
Ans: This will depend on the course you are applying to: please check the online prospectus for specific requirements. For most courses work experience is not generally required and cannot usually be taken in lieu of academic qualifications, but any relevant work experience could add weight to your application. You can provide full details of your work experience in the Employment section of the application form or in your personal statement if this is relevant to the course you are applying to.
