The Queen Mary University of London enrolls more than 19,000 students every year out of which around 6000 of them being international students.
With students from over 160 countries, Queen Mary is considered to be one of the most internationally diverse institutions in the world. It is recommended that applicants submit their applications before the respective deadlines as the University does not entertain the evaluation of late applications.

Students are advised to apply as early as possible to avoid delays in receiving the documents necessary to apply for a Tier 4 student visa. Late applications may be accepted in special circumstances with permission.
International applicants can submit the TOEFL and/or IELTS scores to demonstrate English proficiency. The minimum required scores by the university are given below. However, applicants must note that several departments may different score requirements.

Note: The English proficiency requirements vary significantly according to the courses. This applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
Tier 4 visa will be necessary to study in the UK, for which you must meet the minimum English Language requirements to meet the UKVI regulations. The minimum IELTS requirement is 5.5 in all four skills (Writing, Reading, Speaking and Listening). However, many of the courses require higher grades.

Admission Requirements: Students who have successfully completed Standard XII examinations will be considered for entry onto our undergraduate degrees across the full disciplinary spectrum.
As a minimum requirement, students who have taken Central Board/State Board examinations and achieved in the range of 75% to 85% will be considered for first-year entry.

Research Degrees (MPhil/Ph.D., 3 years):
For entry into postgraduate research degrees, students should normally have achieved a First Class Masters degree from a recognized university. Some departments may also accept students with a First Class Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
