• The full time job market is the worst in the UK. They expect you to be on a tier-1 visa which is practically impossible as you are a overseas student. They will give you no sponsorship or even agree to take the money from your salary to let you work there.
• After spending lakhs of rupees to study and live abroad you have no choice but to spend more money take a 3 year visa and still get no job and eventually have to move back due to immense debt and continue to spend your entire life repaying that debt. 

• I opted for off campus housing which was 15 minutes from campus and also a student accommodation which was very highly recommended. Met the most amazing people and actually got to experience actual international university life from there. It was not very affordable but not completely expensive as well.
• They provided a lot of activities and facilities like a theatre, a community hall with games, mini golf a gym and an amphitheater as well which was perfect for bonding and making friends 

• Students have to network on their own. As far as I know, even the placement students have to find their own placement.

• I stayed at the university accommodation, and it was really good, the area and all the facilities available. It found it on the university website. I paid 142 pounds per week. All the facilities were included, like WiFi, electricity, water bill, etc.

• Very few get placed; the average package would be 37,000 pounds per annum. LinkedIn is the best way to find jobs and apply for summer internships through websites.

• Retail Agents or space rooms.

• The percentage of students getting a full-time job is relatively low with the current situation in the UK, but the university encourages students with placement drives throughout the course of the study.

• The accommodation is a very fun place to be, especially for international students to fit in. The staff also seems to be very friendly with students and helps them if needed.

• Although unaware of statistics and numbers, from what I have seen, heard and experienced, the percentage of people securing full-time employment within 6 months of course completion is not very confidence-inspiring. Most people turn their part-time job into full-time after graduation. This is why working part-time during University is so important. The average salary range that most students in my programme can expect to earn is between 25,000 and 28,000 GBP a year.
• Students usually find jobs through official company websites or by utilising their network. I know a few friends who secured full-time jobs by attending networking events at the University. Personally, I secured my second part-time job by reference from an acquaintance who works at a prominent health retail store in London.
• The placement experiences of my batchmates are not very promising either, as they would frequently report a lack of satisfaction and purpose from their jobs. 3/4 of batchmates joined the hospitality industry as Guest Service Assistant. Only a handful managed to secure placements in retail, and that too by converting their part-time to a placement.
• The only company that hired multiple graduates from my programme is Z Hotel, a fairly modern hotel chain with 3-star and 4-star properties in prominent locations such as Central London.

• I found my accommodation in London through a website called "University Living". I got myself an en suite bedroom in London Zone 2, for roughly 800 GBP every month.
• The best part about living in the accommodation was its brand-new construction. The entire building was newly constructed, which meant I was the first person to live in my room. The renting company "Your Tribe" offered free Wi-Fi, a games room, a house party every month, and most importantly a gym. The reception was open 24 hours to ensure security at all times.
• Thankfully, I did not face any challenges while looking for accommodation in London, as the entire process was frictionless. The only caveat was I had to pay my entire rent of 5 months in a lump sum. However, the staff was very welcoming and I even made some great friends at the building.
• If budget permits, I would totally recommend Chapter living or University Living for students seeking accommodation in London, as they not only provide great rooms but also a community to build connections with.
• The University of Greenwich is 2 miles away from the accommodation I lived in. The accommodation is situated in South Bermondsey, Southwark. I knew other people from Greenwich who stayed in the same building. However, most of my friends opted for the University Accommodation although they moved to other places later.
• Note: I lived in this accommodation for 5 months. Currently, I live in East London with my sister and brother-in-law. I am attaching the pictures of the accommodation below.

• In my college most of them are securing a job after their degree, say nearly 80 per cent.

• It’s pretty hard to find an accommodation in this budget in London but if we have enough time to do fieldwork, it means we can get it
• Yes. I advise students to get private accommodation here, as the student accommodation is so costly.
• My accommodation is just 30 minutes' travel from college and I'm in a place called Ilford, where most of the Indians stay.

• I am not aware of the percentage of your graduating batch that secures employment within 6 months of completing their course or of the average salary range that most students in your programme can expect to earn upon graduation or of how students usually find jobs after graduation or of what common methods (such as campus recruitment, internships, networking, or online job portals) are used.
• There are different opportunities for placements (during the placement module) – counselling, education sectors, youth work, research, etc. I am not sure how many of these translated into a permanent position.
• I am not aware of any major companies that hire graduates from my programme.

• I found my accommodation through personal and family sources.
• I paid 650 GBP per month, inclusive of all bills.
• The accommodation felt expensive at first since I was in the habit of converting INR to GBP.
• Just one recommendation: make sure that your accommodation is secured before you travel.
• Accommodation was about 75 minutes away by the tube. Most Indian students end up staying in Kingsbury/Wembley/Kenton/Harrow, etc.

• As per my knowledge, I got this information from my seniors. Mostly 30 to 40% of students only get a full-time professional job within 6 months of completing their course, and also nowadays it's difficult to get a full-time professional job because of competition, visa rules, and all. We will get a job offer by using campus recruitment, seniors, and our own, and also by using LinkedIn and Indeed. As per new rules and regulations, the average salary was, I remember, 38600 pounds per year. 

• I opted for off-campus accommodations. I found this accommodation through my friend. The monthly rent was 430 per head and billed another 30 pounds for a month. It was separated from the actual rent. Facilities included electricity, gas, wifi, a washing machine, a backyard, and heaters.
• I would like to say to future students: find accommodation through friends and ask them to go and check if you found any accommodations and have proper communication before paying the deposit and rent. For me, it takes 40 minutes via train to reach my campus, and it costs around 2.50 pounds for a one-way trip. 

There are many companies who visited our university for placements. The thing is University just holds your hand and takes you till the door. After that everything depends on your personality, performance, experience, etc. I haven't gone for any placements, though I got an offer from 2 companies. I wanted to come back to my home country to continue the business or work for the government with the knowledge I have gained from my MBA. Couple of my friends got placed in many companies. The median salary is 27,000 - 30,000 GBP per annum.

Reflecting on my overall experience at University of Greenwich, I can say it was a transformative journey filled with growth, learning, and memorable moments. The rigorous academic curriculum pushed me to expand my knowledge and develop critical thinking skills. Engaging with professors who are experts in their fields and participating in diverse courses provided a strong foundation in my chosen discipline. The learning helped me actually implement and solve real problems on ground in business/work life. Building relationships with peers, professors, and alumni was one of the most rewarding aspects. The sense of community and the diverse network of individuals I connected with have provided lasting friendships and professional contacts. College was a time of significant personal growth. I learned to manage my time effectively, balance various commitments, and navigate the challenges of independence. These experiences shaped me into a more resilient and adaptable individual. In summary, my time at University of Greenwich was a pivotal chapter in my life. It was a period of intense learning, personal growth, and unforgettable experiences. The knowledge and skills I gained, along with the relationships I built, have prepared me well for my future endeavours. I look back with gratitude and pride for being part of such an inspiring and supportive academic community.

I believe Universities in UK does not provide placements. Students have an option to add placement year in which they can look out for jobs or internships if provided by University.

The overall experience is quite good considering the quality of education as it is much more practical also it feels up to date with industry standards. Also some of the modules requires coursework which is more researched based which widens the knowledge and gives a student an opportunity to use the knowledge they received. In terms of placements, all the Universities lack these as they cannot provide the placement.
