To qualify, upload your Class XII English mark sheet as English proof at application time.
University of Bedfordshire Postgraduate Admissions

Base PG tuition ranges from GBP 15,500 to 18,900 per year (INR 19.72 to 24.05 Lakhs). See the detailed fee breakdown for per-course figures.

The Bedfordshire application process for Indian students runs through two routes: UCAS for undergraduate courses and the direct Bedfordshire online portal for postgraduate and research courses. Follow the sequence below to submit a clean, complete application on the primary route.
- Shortlist your course and confirm intake availability for September 2026 or January 2027.
- Register on the Bedfordshire international application portal, or UCAS for UG (institution code BEDF B34).
- Pay the application fee: UCAS charges GBP 28.95 (INR 3,753) for UG; direct PG has no fee.
- Upload Class XII or Bachelor’s transcripts, passport scan, and English proficiency proof.
- Write a 400 to 600 word personal statement covering course fit and career goals.
- Attach one academic reference for PG, two for PhD applications.
- Submit the application and track status on the Bedfordshire portal dashboard.
University of Bedfordshire Admission Decision Timeline
Bedfordshire typically responds within 2 to 4 weeks of a complete PG application, with a conditional or unconditional offer letter emailed direct. Applicants have 4 weeks to accept an offer and pay the tuition deposit. This unlocks the Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) letter needed for the UK visa. Deferral to the next intake is available on request within 2 weeks of accepting the offer.
Documents Required for University of Bedfordshire Applications
Bedfordshire’s document checklist is standard for a UK university, though Indian applicants should keep certified copies ready to avoid delays during CAS issuance. Every document below must be scanned in colour, legible, and match the passport name.
- Passport scanned biographic page, valid at least 6 months beyond course start.
- Class XII certificate and mark sheet for UG applicants, or Bachelor’s transcripts for PG.
- English proficiency proof: IELTS or TOEFL score report, or Class XII English mark sheet.
- Personal statement of 400 to 600 words on course fit and career plan.
- One academic reference letter for PG, or two for PhD applicants.
- Updated CV covering academics, internships, and any work experience.
- Work experience letter for MBA applicants with 1 or more years.
- Passport-sized photograph, JPEG, white background.
- Research proposal (PhD and MPhil applicants only).
University of Bedfordshire Acceptance Rate
Bedfordshire’s institutional acceptance rate sits around 80%, one of the widest funnels among UK universities and a comfortable entry point for Indian students with borderline Class XII or Bachelor’s scores. This figure is a widely cited third-party estimate, since the university does not publish a single institutional headline number.
University of Bedfordshire Selection Signals
Bedfordshire follows an access-oriented model, which means it admits most applicants who meet its stated baseline rather than filtering on high-cutoff selection. Selectors weigh academic transcripts, personal statement quality, English proof, and course-fit signals from your CV. The ranking band shows why Bedfordshire prioritises access alongside employability targets. Complete files reviewed first typically clear faster than those needing document follow-ups.
Which University of Bedfordshire courses are hardest to enter?
Popular courses run tighter cutoffs than the institutional average. MSc Adult Nursing, MSc Public Health, MSc Computer Science, and MBA typically admit at rates between 50 and 65%. Nursing pathways add NMC alignment and IELTS 7.0 filters, tightening the pool further. Applying early in the cycle (August for September, September for January) improves your standing in these tighter subject pools.
Insider note: Bedfordshire’s Indian-applicant pool is one of the largest at the UK teaching-university tier. Applying early and pairing your file with the Class XII English waiver document, when eligible, cuts turnaround time by around a week.

- Choose a final-year academic reference over a school principal for stronger reference weight.
- Apply at least 8 weeks before the deadline for CAS and TB test buffer.
- Layer scholarships: Vice Chancellor’s GBP 1,000 (INR 1.27 Lakhs) stacks with Indian awards.

Overview
I chose this University because this is internationally recognised and award winning university with the heritage of quality of education going back more than 100 years. First you need to submit you IELTS score wiith a minimum score of 6 bands. Then they send you an offer letter within 1 or 2 weeks. After that, they will share the payment process and you have to submit the fees accordingly. I took classes from Aim Overseas to prepare for my interview exam.
Scholarship
There is only one scholarship that you can avail which you can get only if you submit the entire annual fees in one go. For first year students, they give you a scholarship of 1000 pounds and for the rest of the academic years, you get scholarship of 500 pounds. If you don't submit the full fees in one time then you don't get any concession.

Likes
- The location is convenient as it is closer to London. It is easy to find accommodation and it is cheaper compared to London.
Dislikes
- Uni has a very good teaching infra but they hardly use it.
Overview
I chose this university as it was the only available institute when I was applying.
Overview
I consulted Career Connection Consultancy which is located in Valsad. I took coaching from the consultancy itself for IELTS preparation and the Consultancy guided me right from the beginning till the end till I migrated to the United Kingdom. The accommodation was also arranged by the consultancy itself. The consultancy helped me make the right choice of selection for the course and university. After migrating to the UK there was a constant support from the consultancy so that we don't feel homesick in the new country away from the family.
Scholarship
There was a scholarship criterion that included getting a certain percentage in the terms. The one with above 85% would get the scholarship. The scholarship was counted in the form of Pounds 500 every month.
