What would be a better option between BIT Mesra BTech IT branch and IIITM Gwalior 5 year IPG IT course considering the fact that I have no problem with 4 years or 5 years?

The best choice will be to pursue a five-year IPG from IIITM Gwalior. The reasons are below. There are two programs in IPG. One is IMT (IPG M. Tech) with 119 intake seats, and another is IMG (IPG MBA) with 69 intake seats. Since 2017, the institute has had a strict batch for IT+MBA, unlike before. In the past, students who failed to get a decent CGPA had no option except to take MBA after the third year and they were not allowed to take M.Tech. This is the reason, the placement statistics for the program may look average. However, the situation has changed. IIITM Gwalior has an excellent alumni base. Even some of the recruiters coming for campus placement have a history with the college. Some students even have cracked Google Summer of Code (GSOC), and most get an internship in their first year.
