IGDTUW BBA Admission 2020: Spot Round Counselling to be held on November 06, 2020

At the UG level, the institute offers programs like B.Tech, B.Arch, and BBA. Admission to BTech and BArch is subject to a valid score in JEE Main followed by Joint Admission counselling (JAC). BBA admissions are merit based.

Under the PG domain, programs like M.Tech with 5 specializations, MBA, MCA, and M.Plan. are offered. For admission to the M.Tech. and M.Plan. programs, a valid score in GATE is mandatory.

Admission to MCA is conducted through an entrance test conducted by IGDTUW while admission to the MBA will be strictly based on the candidate’s performance in CAT followed by GD and PI.

For Ph.D, IGDTUW conducts Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by an interview. CSIR-NET/ UGC-NET/ GATE or any other equivalent exam qualified candidates are exempted from RAT.

To apply for admission, the candidate’s must visit the official website of the institute.

IGDTUW B.Tech and B.Arch Eligibility Criteria 

  • For B.Tech program, the basic eligibility for is 60% marks in 10+2 in the Science group.
  • For the B.Arch program, the basic eligibility is 50% marks in 10+2 with Mathematics.

IGDTUW B.Tech. and B.Arch. Selection Criteria 

  • For the selection procedure, JEE Main entrance exam is must for both courses. 
  • Candidates will also be required to appear in counseling by Joint Admission Counselling (JAC).
  • Those students who got admissions after the counseling round, have to confirm their admissions by paying 75,000 in advance by SBI Challan or Online.

How to Apply for B.Tech and B.Arch? 

  • Students have to appear for JEE Main entrance exam
  • After the declaration of results, college releases the cut off for the admissions procedure.
  • Students have to apply for the admissions. Later, those students who got their name in the cut off list can further apply for the counseling process i.e. JAC.
  • There will be 3 rounds of cut off list, if any student doesn’t get their names in the 1st round, they apply for other rounds.

How to Apply for M.Tech? 

  • Students have to appear for the GATE Exam and after the results are declared. Students have to apply for their choice of college.
  • College will release the cut off list and those students will get their names, they can apply for the CCMT counseling.
  • There will be 3 rounds for the admission process. 

Note- For M.Tech. (Part-time) Admission will be based on marks in qualifying exam but the preference will be given to the candidates possessing a valid GATE Score

How to Apply for Ph.D.? 

  • Visit the college website and apply for the Ph.D program. Those students who want to take admission in the Ph.D program, they can register from 05.06.2020 to 10.07.2020 by attaining the eligibility criteria of college. Pay the registration fees for the respective course through online mode.
  • Entrance Exam will be held on 19.07.20 and the college will release the Merit list. Last procedure will be the Interview of the selection procedure.

IGDTUW Scholarship Schemes

Scholarship program is applicable for M.Tec and Ph.D students. Government of India initiates the Scholarship program for Single child girls. 

Eligibility criteria

  • Slots will be around 3000
  • Those girls who are up to 30 years old and single child in their family.
  • It is applicable for the first year students, who have applied for full-time courses.

Scholarship amount

Amount will be around 36,000 for the whole PG course. It doesn’t include Hostel fees.

    It is among the top 4 colleges of Delhi. It is a govt college. The on campus placemente are great, with an average package of 12 lacks. The faculty is great. The environment, u name the society we have it in our college, and all of them are well known and have performed really well.
