- The faculty was good and responsible, easy available of references and easy understanding, well professionalized lectures
- The opportunity for scholarships and placements is also top-class at andhra university.
- My experience in my college was pretty good.they have good faculty and facilities in the classroom and the classroom and washroom are kept clean .they provide labs for physics and chemistry,and also they celebrate annual fests and farewells and sports
Dislikes
- The faculty here are very much experienced and well known about the subject but the prblm here is that they just teach us about the subject and go but no one will let you ask if you understand it or not.
- Nothing much but there will be disparities between students and it is difficult to get seat in wished group
- I dislike the college b?cause they is only some placement for the course

Course Curriculum Overview:
I have chosen this course to become a software engineer.
The faculty and student ratio is 1:17 and faculty is qualified with PG and other higher qualifications like b. Ed MSc a likely.
Teaching review is about 5 out of 5.
Exams are conducted monthly wise and paper is prepared by faculty and the management both in the perspective of the semester, it is a bit difficult way to pass.

Placement Experience:
In both degree and engineering the students who got pass in 4th sem are eligible to attend campus placements wipro Infosys, IBM, tcs, Accentur, deolitte like companies will come for campus drives and they offer assistant engineer roles and many other as per the group they study and the Highest offer in our college is 17L per annum and the average package would be 2.9 to 3.5 L per anum. Nearly 60 to 70 percentage of students getting thier placement most of them are losing in their academics so all of them are not able to do thier jobs and my plan is to join MCA in same college even though I got job in wipro.

Placement Experience:
After 4th semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, Infosys, IBM and some others visited for placements. The average package offered for degree students is 2.2lpa and for BTech students 4.25 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is 20percent. My plan is to complete the MCA course in a good college.

Present now I am studying BTech 2nd year and I am a lateral entry. So, I don't know the correct information about campus placements and their packages. But our seniors said our colleges have the best placements with 10Lpa.

From3/4 6th semester. TCS, Amazon, Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys. The highest package is 34 lac and the avg is 3.4 lac. 80% is the placement percentage. I want to complete my MS after the completion of the BTech degree in the USA.

Course Curriculum Overview:
Since my childhood, I'm interested in coding. My well-wishers told me IT will be a great approach for great career opportunities.so I choose it as my major. The faculty and student ratio is 1:10. All my teachers are highly qualified and we have 8 semesters in total.

So many companies offers will be made including some MNCs like Amazon and Google
Highest package in this year is 31+ lakhs for 2 students.

The college management provides very good placements. Every year almost 1500 students get placed with an average package of 4 lakh and the highest package is 30 lakh. The college conducts many training sessions.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 3rd-year 2nd semester..
Students get placed in companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, etc...
The highest package is about 19 to 24 LPA
The average package is 3.6 to 8 LPA
After getting the degree, some students write Gate exam & oot for higher studies whereas some join in software companies

Placement Experience:
As I just said for students from science backgrounds getting an opportunity or placement is a bit harder thing. Bank jobs or software side are best in placements. They will pay you a stipend of 25k to 30k as a starting salary. So it is better to go for Masters or govt. Based exams.

What is your review of Andhra University?

One of my friends graduated from Andhra University. According to him, it is very reputed among students as well as professionals. But like every other institution, it also has its fair share of positives and negatives. Let me share them with you which you can analyze later on.
Pros:
- It is one of the oldest universities in the country, hence has a great alumni network.
- The student intake in each department is 30-60, which benefits the student-teacher interaction.
- Each department has its own dedicated library consisting of several books, magazines, journals, and other study materials.
- The campus is huge, covering 600 acres.
- They have the biggest sports ground. Students are also provided with a gym and basketball court.
- The entire campus is wifi enabled.
Cons:
- The placements are average. The number of companies visiting the college has gradually decreased.
- The lab equipment is not well maintained or upgraded.
- Andhra University follows the age-old curriculum with little to no changes.
- Students are told to put more emphasis on theoretical learning than practical.
- Exams are mostly based on theories rather than practicals.
Overall, it is an above-average institution. It may not be like the IITs or NITs but still works well. It is suggested that you opt for this only if you have missed the opportunity to study in the IITs or NITs.
