Yes, I had opted for a hostel room and I have secured a hostel room in the campus. All the hostel rooms in the University Campus are sharing. But one can even get a personal room by paying double accomodation charges. There is enough hostel accomodation for the students of the University. The rooms in northern hostels are older and the hostels in the southern campus are specious and very well maintained since they are new. There are nearby PGs also which provide food and accomodation for around monthly 10, 000 INR.
University has 23 hostels including 8 hostels for female students. The hostel fees are minimal and for those who are in caste category can provide their income certificate which allows them to not pay for accomodation. The girls hostel 1 to 6 are on north campus where 7 and 8 are on south campus. The hostel(1-3) are kind of small which can be spacious only for one but sometimes 2 students share the room. Other hostel rooms are spacious for 2 people. There is one mess for north campus and one mess for the south campus. The food quality is average. The mess fees are calculated separately. If you don't eat in the mess then you don't have to pay for it. Its totally optional.
Hostel You get assignments very easily. No need to do assignments and write ups on your own. During exams, especially practical exams, group study can be Expensive or not will vary greatly from one family to another. I will take my family and my
Yes I opted for hostel. All outstation students were qualified for hostel. We got rooms in sharing basis, 2 in each room, and had common washrooms for each wing. The hostel fees was 500rs per semester.
Hostel facility is available for all the students. Average charge is around 5000/year(depends on academic year). For PG and PhD 1st and 2nd year students need to share room with mate(double bed) then for rest 3years you will be provided single room.
Yes. The rooms are spacious yet don't expect much luxury. The are shared between 2 students and there is no chance of choosing as the allotment occurs through random online stuff. The fee for room and mess is same only one and it as less as 45rs/day as basic charge (including room and food).
Yes.for one semester, room rent and crockery charges are around Rs1000.Mess facilities are also there. The mess is dynamic, depends on your food choices.I paid around Rs2500 per month.Food is of South Indian type. So, if you are north indian then you will face slightly difficulty.
Yes I stay in hostel. The hostel facility is quite good and most of the students stay in hostels. The rooms are provided for two people. The rooms are enough to accommodate all the University students. In each room there is a cupboard, a bed and a table given. Also free wifi facilities is provided. The accomodation is quite good except the mess food. The mess food is below average. But the students have the choice not to eat in the mess. All the online food is delivered extensively into the campus.
One hostel room is shared by 2 people. Hostels are well maintained and regularly cleaned. Seperate hostels for boys and girls are provided. University hostels accomodate almost all the students studying in the university.
The hostels are pretty large to accommodate the large number of students. The hosteliers are provided with a single room shared by two. The room is also spacious enough. The washouroom is a common washouroom in each wing. The hostel fees per semester is just 500 and for that fee, the hostel is really good. I am not really sure about PG facilities but they usually take a monthly rent of around 6000.
