I opted for Gauhati Commerce College because it is known to be the best college in Northeast India for commerce education. It also has a convenient location which makes the transportation facility easily accessible to the students living in any part of the city.

Gauhati University is the first higher educational institution in Assam, and their faculty campus everything is outstanding for a learning environment. That's why i'm choosing this institution for further learning, and i really enjoying my days in this great institution.

Faculty: HGC has one of the best faculties in North East for English Literature. The professors pay individual attention to the students and are concerned about their betterment not just in academic field but also as a person. The faculty is highly learned, caring and sincere when it comes to teaching. Location: HGC is located opposite to the beautiful Dighalipukhuri. Transportation - be it bus, cabs, auto or rickshaw is not a problem since it is a centre location. Also restaurants, food stalls, beverage stalls, xerox and printing shops are in the vicinity making it easier for the students to have lunch if they are not in the mood to lunch at the college canteen. Reputation: HGC is culturally active and has churned out gems who are in various fields of Assamese art and culture today.

The college is one of the reputed ones in Assam where there is a big opportunity for the students. The college provides with various courses of full time and distance education. The location of the college is good and one can easily communicate through public transportation.

It is primarily the location and the subject that I chose.Women's studies course is not there in many universities.Also,the faculty of the department is quite experiened which is one of the reasons to choose the university.The University is also the oldest and reputed in North East India which is an A graded University by NAAC and secured 48th rank in the recent MHR ranking.

Since it is in my hometown I decided to pursue my masters from gauhati university and simultaneously prepare other competitive exams being at home.even it is one of the most renouned university of the entire northeast and one of the biggest too

GU is one of the best University of North east. Also I did my graduation from Darrang College, affiliated of GU. So it is easy to take post graduation in a same University. Also the environment, the hostel life is very attractive.

The heritage which it carries as it is the 1st University of our area. From our childhood we have heard about this university and always dreamt to study here and the hostel life which is main thing which attracted me.

It offers higher secondary courses in science and art stream, graduation in arts and science stream, masters in various subjects, BCA and PGDCA. And this institution is one of the most appreciable institutions, and I would prefer any girl thinking to pursue the degree or competing the 10+2 course, to definitely join here.

Gauhati University is the oldest and one of the most renowned universities in Northeast India. My childhood dream was to study in this University. Gauhati University is a accredited grade A by National Assessment and accreditation council ( NAAC). That's why I choose Gauhati University.
