- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- The main thing which I disliked about our college is that our college campus is small if you compare with other colleges..
- Next thing is that in our college we don't have enough space in college campus to sit during off periods rather than our classroom.
- The next thing is that there were various construction going on in our college so for now the college environment is not healthy enough for a student to perform
Course Curriculum Overview:
As I want to appear for civil service examinations in future, so for me political science subject is helpful for my future career. In our department our faculty trach us in a decent manner, but there are some improvement needed with time.

Placement Experience:
From 7th semester students start getting placement. Companies like Codeyoung, Hikeedu, ITC Infotech, federal Bank, zafin, nuclei visited our university and give placement offers. Highest package till date is 20LPA . 77% students get placement. My plans after getting the B.Tech degree is to pursue a MBA degree.

- The thing i like that teacher in our class use projector to teach us in class.
- Next thing i like that our college was accredited with Autonomous status, which help us to get every sem result on time.
- In our college, the students gets to join various seminars, which college authorities provide us with time to time

- The classrooms are good but the campus needs some improvement
- I enjoy my break time in the college campus happily and saw the beauty of nature.
- The faculties are experienced, good teaching methods and well mentorship quality.
Course Curriculum Overview:
BA in English has a specific aspect of the curriculum that it created a good human being which is influenced my decision to choose this course. I prepared the curriculum in a good manner for real world applications. I suggest to improve the dramatization of the teaching methods.

- Environment: The campus is clean and well maintained .
- Free Bus is available for students of college .
- The Auditorium is large and spacious . It can be used for various events very easily.
Dislikes
- Floods: During floods , the college is filled with flood water and very inconvenient for students to travel to and fro.
- Lifts / elevators are not allowed to be used for students , making them climb the stairs upto many floors .
- Teacher -student interaction can be improved for better understanding of the subject.

Placement Experience:
From 5th -6th semester, students become eligible for campus placements and relevant exams are conducted for such matters.
A no. Of offers are made from companies such as Capgemini, TCS , Wipro , etc.
The highest package is 4 Lpa and the average package is 2-3 Lpa.
Out of 50-60 students , around 5-10 students get placements or get selected for job positions .
After getting the degree , I opted for corporate jobs.

- girls and boys ration is 70:30 . so campus have more girl
- huge campus . we have a huge campus and it is very beautiful
- good alumni network . gu is the oldest university in north east .

- administration . administration is not that good
- placement . placement is also not that good
- infrastructure is not that good also as it is oldest university in northeast
Placement Experience:
our college gives placement but it is not that good. average 50 of students got a placement with a 4 lakh average salary. the highest package is 12 LAKH in the 2024 batch and I am thinking of going for offcampus placement in 4th the year and only 4 year students can sit in the placement

- Environment: The college environment is decent and maintained
- Teacher- student interaction is well maintained .
- Faculty and teachers are Friendly and supportive.
Dislikes
- Whole Course / syllabus is not covered due to insufficiency of time
- Sometimes faculty can be rude and inapproachable.
- During flood it becomes difficult for students to travel to and fro college
Course Curriculum Overview:
This college has decent and qualified faculty for commerce and hence my decision for choosing this college as well as this course .
This college prepares you with real life knowledge about the commercial sector and assists with future academic courses.
The teaching methods can be better for ensuring better teacher student interaction.
Each semester is of 4 months in total and exams are held every 4-6 months . Exams are sometimes okay and sometimes difficult.

- I like how the teachers are so helpful in our studies
- The faculty is very understandable in regards to attendence
- Our college arranged events in intervals which creates a good environment

- The course is really outdated and we need practical experience
- We have really less experience and need internship facility
- We need placement opportunities from our college

Our course is good but we have really less practical experience.most of the students just learn theory and pass we don't have any real life experience which prepares us for the real world so we are lacking there and we need improvement in that field

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
