- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- Well, my college has a big playground in that playground. We can enjoy various kinds of sports during the annual meet or sports week with the students can engage in various sports activities like Indoor and outdoor sports, so it’s a good advantage
- The college also has pretty decent Library, which contains several books of many languages, including English,Hindi,Assamese,Bengali, Bodo and other languages, and it’s free for the students. We don’t have to pay an additional fee to use the library.
- The teachers or professors of the college are very friendly and they do explain the lectures very easily and sometimes they use our own mother tongue to let the students understand the concept easily
Dislikes
- Few teacher professors from the college are very rude and aggressive towards students. Few professors have lot of ego problems.
- In college, few classes do not have air conditioning facility .So, during summer season, it’s very hard to study in those classroom that doesn’t have any AC
- The peon or the staffs of the college does not have proper civic sense, and they do talk very rudely towards the students like in a very impolite manner

Well, nothing specific has influenced me in the decision to choose this course that is BCOM as most of these student after passing shoes, so I also opt to BCOM. Well, the curriculum does not fully prepare the students for real world applications or further academic pursuits. They does not provide any practical knowledge or any kind of internship to the students for the real world. Well, according to me, they should provide some internship or something related to practical knowledge. This improvements are very necessary. The frequency and timing of exams is very low like within four months the university tries to complete the whole semester, and it's very hard to complete the whole syllabus within just four months.

- I like most is that the natural environment and can see other types of birds pool etc
- And the way our major political science teacher has been teaching us with good and clear concept
- And there is sport curriculum like basketball and volleyball and other indoor outdoor activities
Dislikes
- The most dislikes is that there is no football field or play ground
- Teacher who use rarely english that students doesn't clear their concept
- There should be inter college competition in sports that every individual can take part

This course political science is very important for any competative exam like upsc csc ssc etc

- Teachers are friendly and lenient. Campus has places to relax
- There is no need to have 75 percentage of attendance
Dislikes
- Infrastructure could be improved like the rooms desks benches etc
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is ok. I believe some of the things will not help you with real world applications but will give a range of informations. The teaching methods of some faculty are and some not that good. Exams are well timed and pretty difficult.

- The staff there is friendly and helpful.
- The students I met there are also kind and friendly.
- The infrastructure of the college is good.
Dislikes
- I think better technology should be used in some educational purposes.
- The College Field is comparatively small.
- I don't have more to say for now. Will think about it later.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The Course that is provided in the college is good. The different subjects that are used in the couse are really good for career purposes. It also provides knowledge about various topics and are interesting to study about.

- The first thing i liked is the surrounding. It is a very neat and clean College with full of greenery and a beautiful campus.
- Secondly what i liked is the attitude of most professors. They are very friendly and chilled.
- Another thing i like about thr College is that there are many eateries in the area students can devour delicious foods from. Its like a hotspot for fast foods.
Dislikes
- One thing i dont like is the attitude of some of the professors. Mostly the senior professors. They have a huge ego problem.
- Have ac in many classes but they aren’t maintained. So during summers it is not of much use.
- Toilets are not maintained properly. Many dirty toilet are there. They should hire more workers for the washrooms. But thry have limited 3-4 workers.

Bcom from Gauhati Commerce College is a great thing to be heard of if you are from Assam. As it is a renowned college and many alumni are influential and big personalities. So yes bcom is a god course. But it is not much real world based i guess. As modern day is changing rapidly but our syllabus and course haven't changed much from a decade or more. One can see it by seeing past years papers.

- There are a lot of opportunities for our personal development
- The faculty members are very kind and well behaved
- There are NCC , NSS , and other units that help you explore various adventures
Dislikes
- Most of the AC are not in working condition
- Floods on rainy days , even a tiny rain is enough to cause flood
- Rules for attendance of students aren't strict enough
Course Curriculum Overview:
* My aim is to do MBA therefore I choose this course
* I'd give 7/10 for its real world applications
* They should install screens and sound boxes in every class
* Sessionals are held after 2 months of the semester and finals are held in the 4th month

- Teahers, they are really intelligent amd knows to explain the students
- The sports area of our college is cool because we have many options in sports to play
- The college is affordable thus helps the students who belongs to below poverty line
Dislikes
- The infrastructure could be improved, the classes are too far away from each other.
- Focus on hygiene myst be given. Washrooms are very dirty.
- Infrastructure in case of flooding must be improved.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I always wanted to graduate with a b.com degree course. They do tell us real life experiences about businesses. The course could have been improved if there were more practical thrn theory. The difficulty level of exam is moderate.

- I like the environment of the college as all the students (both seniors and juniors) maintain a comfortable decorum in the campus.
- I also like the advancement in tech and infrastructure day by day for the welfare of the students.
- I like the the teaching staff as they are very supportive not only academically but also in other aspects like councelling, etc.
Dislikes
- The college is facing parking issues as there is a lack of parking space for vehicles of the students which needs to be fixed
- The college could host programs and functions in the auditorium rather than the field stage
- The college has a strict no mobile phone policy which can sometimes be troublesome
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is totally relevant in today's date as it is very important for future job opportunities regarding computer sciences and coding. Although the syllabus is a little outdated but still it covers all the core concepts of various coding languages, things like DBMS, etc.

- Gauhati commerce college has AC classrooms
- Effective teaching staffs and teaching methods.
Dislikes
- The college doesn't have proper placements for bcom students.
- It often suffers from watter logging problem.
- Old buildings with poor infrastructure .
Course Curriculum Overview:
Bachelors of commerce is an overall degree for businesses and management , it prepares you for both financial and managerial skills for a business and start ups . Gauhati commerce college needs little improvement in this course regarding practical knowledge in the relevant subject .

- Doing classes frequently with batchmate and making good amount of knowledge with some best teachers in the college with information about the particular topics explained by them
- College week used to be our happy moment because this is come together with all the batchmates at the same place
- Again the event come which is called freshers which used to every year for the upcoming new students
Dislikes
- Doing classes full day with no break makes the situation very bearable for me
- Classess of some advance teacher who not used to treat students as Student
- Teacher sometime don't come to the classes according to the time

Some of very famous person used to come on freshers to came and sing song with larger audience used to be available in the college at the time of the Event which used to be held in the college for the whole of the students with the knowingly of understanding the process of advertising and making events more memorable

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
