- The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
- The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities

- There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
- Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
- Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

- The networking and the contacts that GU provides.
- Exposure to various aspects. Chance of self discovery
- Great environment. Loved the campus. A great place to study also the Library and canteens. Connectivity
Dislikes
- Too much pressure on students in certain cases.
- Very slow processing of documents by the authorities
- Very delayed results of all the semester.

Course Curriculum Overview:
This is an integrated course where i will be getting a masters degree after completing 5 years. Only tezpur university provides this course other than GU.
The curriculum prepares students mainly to pursue careers in academic fields and research fields. More practical aspects can be added to provide a holistic knowledge to the students. The exams are very well planed.

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the final year of their law course. The college invites variousaw firms, corporate companies, NGOs, and sometimes government recruiters for placement drives.

- People are really good here both the juniors and the seniors including the teaching faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:
I am so much into developing so i chose this computer science course which will be quite helpful for my future. The curriculum prepares me really well, i also learnt new features to develop new app which i am working on it. A little improvement should be made in the computers in the lab. The timing of exams is 3 hours which is a lengthy hour for us to complete our exams.

- The most thing I liked about this institution is its faculty members. They are very friendly with the students and also helps the students whenever it goes s possible .
- The second thing I liked was the alumni network which is spread all over the state.
- It has a huge and lush green campus with many kinds of trees

- Things I disliked is the late response by the authorities.
- No response in certificate issuance works
- Officials behave aggressively towards students.

Placement Experience:
In Msc courses, there are no placements offered by the institute. However the institute of technology offers placements for btech and mtech students. The highest package this year was 12LPA and the average package was 8 LPA.

- The college is gender neutral, open to people of any sexes
- Classes are regularly done, no cancellation whatsoever
- Very approachable and student-centric principal
Dislikes
- There is a rule where we can't get out of college before 1pm which creates problem sometimes
- The college is packed according to the size
- There is no post graduation course for students who want to stay in the college after graduating
Course Curriculum Overview:
English is a subject that I relate to and love therefore it has been my priority. The subject teaches me the history in a very interesting aspect. Sessional examinations are held every two months after the beginning of a semester which gives us good enough time to prepare for the finals

- Teachers are good of psychology department
- Girls college so comfortable and boosts confidence
- Many events , workshops, competitions and you'll fall in love with the food stalls and accessory stall events
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not well developed and not every department teachers are cooperative
- Do not expect much like notes and all , at the end of the day it's a college like every other college. So you have to study yourself. But you can approach the teachers for help. Make sure you approach them during clg hours, not thru WhatsApp text.
- Strict rules like uniform length and cannot wear jeans. Too much dress code restrictions for a girls' college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Psychology was my last minute decision. I cannot really say I was into this subject from before. But the subject is good , simple and fun. You can learn many things from it about urself n others.
Psychology subject is based on practical applications. You learn when u apply them so the entire course is about application and learning from the results.
Certain improvements like career guidance with psychology.. knowledge about fields and much more is necessary...tbh necessary for every subject aspect.. so teachers should keep giving counseling once in two months to keep the mental health of students in check and also guide them with their goal. Timing of exams is okay.

Biotechnology is a growing sector and it encouraged me to pursue my Bachelor degree in this subject.The course is designed for Research as well as Industrial sector.The exams are a bit tough but with proper understanding and knowledge about the subject it can be easy

- The attention given to the students by the teachers
- Sports are being held on the occasion of annual sports day
- Frequently seminars lectures on social awareness and those things are held

- The campus is little bit small but the campus is clean with full of tress and peaceful environment
- We don't have an auditorium but by the end of 2025 it'll be completed which is in process
- Sports are being held but there's no proper management

So we do field trips and interships to get real life experiences which is preparing us for future
But this teaching from ppt shouldn't be encouraged so much because teachers only repeat the things which are written not all but some
Exams are okayish and on time but if like NAAC visits or something it sometimes delayed

- Faculty is friendly, interactive and helpful.
- The students are kind, easy to get along .
- Other activities like NSS, NCC, Clubs for various extracurricular are provided
Dislikes
- Infrastructure is not proper and chances of getting injured
- Hygiene and cleanliness is not maintained especially washrooms.
- Mostly the canteen service is unavailable

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.
Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.
Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.
Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.
Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.
The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
