Placements were offered to each and every student. It is then up to them whether they have to go or not. Average package was around 6,00,000-12,00,000 range. It was a good experience. It worth it and your money too.
The admission process was simple. I didn't opt for any quota got the direct admission here. Polite staff and a good environment. There were no such minimum marks criteria it was based on seats available. If there is an ample amount of seat availability then there was a simple admission process was conducted.
Sixth-semester students can take part in the campus placement.
IDBI finance was a finance company which deals in insurance policy etc. There was a bulk-hiring.
The profile was an insurance agent and the package was around 3 lakh.
Thirteen students got hired.
My plan was to get one year of work experience and then do the masters.
It's was the best university after university of Delhi good thing about my college was that it provides good infrastructure and teachers. Bad thing about my college was that it lack in campus placement the company which comes for campus placement are either BPO or financial company like insurance company.
If you want to take admission in GGSIPU than you must fill the entrance examination form of GGSIPU which you can find online on there website you have to pay the examination fee (1000-1500 rupee's). This university is best for professional courses.
In my school, one of my teachers recommended this university.
Well, there are so many students who got placements of more than 20lakhs per annum,
If I talk about the average placement its 6 lakh /pa
College provides placements facilities
So many reputed companies like Facebook, Amazon, Flipkart, byjus have come for placement.
I must say your placement is totally dependent on your skills so try to develop your skills from the first year. Take help from your faculty, and ask them which skills is helpful in getting me a better job
I am pursuing my B.Tech in ECE from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
Before 2 years, ipu takes admission on the basis of Ipu set as well as jee the main score. But now University has decided to take admission on the basis of jee main.
GGSIPU is a government university so it's valuable and also the fee is not very high, but also not very low as well.
There teaching criteria and structure is very good, 60 students per classroom is eligible. Teachers are well educated from iit,nit and from reputed college.
LAB facilities are really good, everyone has treated the same way in the lab, there is no partiality with the student.
Good infrastructure, good yearly festivals called anugoonj, so many celebrities are coming here for performance. Overall it's a really good college.
There is approx 12 collage under GGSIPU, there is a loophole because every college has a different fee structure which tends from 60000 to 1 lakh, so I can say you all focus on entrance exam is important.
I wanna make a career in the management field so I choose BBA and in this practical and presentations are included.
The faculty and student ratio is 1:65 in bachelor's management courses don't have any idea of others but in master's, there is some good ratio of faculty and students.
Faculty's qualification is very good without any doubt almost professors and assistant professors are ph.d holders in their respective field and worked with many big institutions and MNC's you can check on University and college website about the same.
Externals exams weightage is 30 and externals is 70 in some practicals subjects that are quite different and exam level is not that hard.
Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 110000
-Good faculty in every college
-Regularly executing sessions of every Committee
-Continuously giving assignments or projects
-Host a big event named "anugoonj" For 3 days for all IPU students
- Good Infrastructure in almost every college branch I'm in MERI, Janakpuri
-Immediately gives updates about exams
-Doesn't give corporate and internship exposure till 4 semesters for management courses
-Fees is too High as compare to facilities they are providing
-Don't give quick responses to student problems
-Don't give a practical approach to students
Admission process & dates
I had given Entrance exam on 5th may 2019 by end of the month I got my rank. In July counselling had started, 2nd counselling I got admission in MERI college but before that, you have to select the colleges according to your preference then they allot you. If you are going through management quota then you can choose any college but you have to contact directly to that particular college, check the website regularly.
Talking about campus placement so it is Zero while if u talk about package so you will get a 2.5-3 lacs package easily while if you go for govt job you can also get upto 5 lacs per annum package. My plan after doing my bachelors is surely to go for masters as it will help me out in future too and I'm not looking for a job rn but yes my friends are and I shared their experience
It is related to a hospital which will give the students a practical aspect knowledge along with theoretical and it is located in a good location. Teachers, there are helpful and hard working. You can definitely go for this option while the other college under GGSIPU offering the same course is not that good. The only negative point is that there's no placement council in college so you will have to look for a job y yourself but teachers will help you if they find any post.
The Main Reason Was that this college in Delhi which will provide you Classy Exposure and ample opportunities to do what so ever you want.GGSIPU Have a good batch of Faculty and Research work here is Decent. Hostel is Best In Main Campus GGSIPUCheap college and best environment.
No I didn't faced Group discussions or interviews but for your general Knowledge prepare Major topics from Daily life like Women empowerment and Pay scale or Political agendas like Health and sanitation or Democracy in danger. I prepare them from You tube and The print media. You need to Give Jee Mains for the Addmission in IP University
Prepared for Jee mains not able to get good college preferable to CSE/IT So plan to sit in spot round of GGSIPU where got CBPGEC,Jaffarpur as the college because it is a government college with affordable fee for me and location is also around 20km from my home and also got IT branch there. There is no attendance issue so i get admission there so that i can prepare for Other competetive exams after B.Tech.Now its affilation changed to NSUT Delhi,it becomes NSUT-WEST CAMPUS. In 2020 first batch of Nsut has been admitted through jee mains students of mostly under 30k rank (General Category) in Jee mains got admission there.
Earlier it you have to give IPU-CET exam when it was affiliated to GGSIPU,Delhi but now It becomes NSUT -West Campus so admissions are done using JEE-Mains rank. You have to fill JAC-DELHI counselling form.
Students become eligible for placements in the 7 th semester. Around 25-30 companies visit the campus which includes amazon, Microsoft, Google, Infosys, TCS, etc. the companies made around 300 offers last year. The highest package was 28 lacks offered by amazon. The average package was around 5 lacs. The percentage of students getting placements is 70-75%.
I also plan to get a good placement at the university after I complete my degree.
The infrastructure of the college is commendable and the size of the campus is huge as compared to other colleges. The admission in this college is through the jee mains paper 1 entrance exam for the b.tech course. The form is usually out in march. It is very close to the Dwarka sec 14 metro station. The faculty is nice teaching wise but sometimes they show unprofessional behavior. The hostel is also good.
The reason I preferred this college was mainly the infrastructure, the faculty, closeness to public transport, and good placements. The website I used to research about this college before admission was collegedunia, Shiksha.
8th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. About 1% of students get offered a job in a highly reputed company such as Bharat Biotech, Tapan Bio. There is not much placement for undergraduate students and we have to do post-graduation for good salary packages. My immediate plan is to pursue a PhD and later have a profession that combines research and teaching.
The B.Tech in Biotechnology course offered in this college was ranked 3rd among other universities. The professor performs world-class research, holds good international positions. They were the authors of the biotechnology book which I studied in school. They are also strict while checking answer sheets and do not give leniency in attendance. Do the students need to maintain 75% attendance strictly and otherwise will not be allowed to sit in the examination. The admission process is easy, we cleared IPU CET for admission and top candidates were given admission upon submission of all required documents.
The college has a good campus, the college brings gold medals in All India inter-university tournaments and in Delhi State Championship in Tug of War. It is located in Dwarka, thus have less pollution than in the city.
5th year is for internships. After the internship, some companies come.
Architecture is a course where there are no in campus placement.
But sometimes the Highest package would be approx 3L per annum and the lowest would be 1.5L.
GOOD ASPECTS: The college is too good and the faculty is very helpful. Separate hostels for both girls and boys with all the facilities. The campus is lush green and the new campus is underway.
BAD ASPECTS: As such there are no bad aspects.
I prefer this college as this college comes in top 5 in all Delhi architecture colleges and comes directly under GGSIPU which is a government University.
Ques. Which is better, IP University's average college or Sharda University?
● Top Answer By Shagun Verma on 14 Jun 21
Ans.Having friends who study in both colleges, I can assure you that, there is no comparison of Sharda University with any IPU colleges unless it is low rated.
If you are taking your studies seriously you should consider entering colleges affiliated with IP University.
But Sharda University offers amazing placement and internship opportunities as they have good tie-ups with few top companies.
You can do good even at Sharda University if you are good at self-study and can get motivated on your own.
The positive side of Sharda University is that it has a great crowd.
There are alumni at Sharda University who are unemployed. Even a number of graduate students from IPU are still searching for jobs. There are students at both of these universities who have reached heights in technological fields.
If you want a strong core teaching and complete study environment, go for IPU. If you are happy with your studies and want to have a bit of a relaxed college life Sharda University is your spot.Read more
