JNU CEEB (Jawaharlal Nehru University Combined Entrance Examination for Biotechnology) entrance exam is University Level exam conducted once in every year by Jawaharlal Nehru University for the candidates seeking admission in various postgraduate M.Sc and M.Tech programs in participating universities. The exam is tentatively scheduled for December 30, 2018.

  • General eligibility criteria to apply for JNU CEEB 2019, candidates should have passed a bachelor degree with 50% marks from a recognized university.

JNU CEEB 2019 Eligibility Criteria

  • There is no age limit criteria to apply for JNU CEEB 2019
  • Candidates should have completed a Bachelor degree program from a recognized university in the following field i.e. Biological, Physical, Veterinary and Fishery Sciences, Agriculture, Pharmacy, Engineering/Technology, 4-years B. SC (Physician Assistance Course); or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS
  • Candidates need to score 50% marks in Bachelor Degree to become eligible
  • Candidates appearing for qualifying examination are eligible to apply.

JNU CEEB 2019 Application Fee Payment

Candidates have to make application fee payment to completely submit the application form. Application form will not be submitted without application fee payment. Candidates can make Application fee payment online as well as offline. Candidates making payment via demand draft have to send it with application form through registered post/ speed post to the Section Officer.

Admit Card is an important document to be carried on the day of examination. Without the admit card entry in the examination hall will not be allowed. It act as an identity proof of the candidate. JNU CEEB 2019 Exam Pattern

JNU CEEB 2019 is conducted in offline mode. There are 2 parts in the question paper. Part 1 contains 60 questions of 60 marks. There is also a provision of negative marking. For every single correct response candidates will get 1 marks and for every incorrect response candidates have to lose o.25 marks. Part 1 checks the candidate’s knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

Part 2 contains 180 questions which should be completed in 2 hours. Candidates have to lose 1 mark for each incorrect response. This section check the candidates understanding of Verbal and Reasoning ability and Comprehensive ability.

Counselling process will begin after the declaration of JNU CEEB 2019 result. In counselling process candidates will be allotted seats in the desired courses on the basis of their result. Candidates should take all the original documents on the day of counselling process.

  • Two self-attested copies of matriculation certificate
  • Two self-attested copies of 10+2 certificate
  • Two self-attested copies of institution last attended
  • Character certificate from the Head of the institution last attended 
  • Two self-attested certificate of statement of marks obtained in senior school and Bachelor degree program
  • SC/ST/OBC Certificate if applicable
  • A Medical Certificate for PWD Candidates certifying that the disability is not less than 40%
