NIT Kurukshetra witnessed an upsurge in its placements during the 2019 recruitment drive as companies brought forth over 933 job offers under different profiles. 819 students from both the UG and PG programs got placed under different sectors of the industry.
Some of the top recruiters who visited the campus were- Amazon, Honda, Nestle, Bharat Petroleum, Airtel, Pepsi, Paytm, Microsoft, Hero, Coca Cola, Goldman Sachs, Indian Oil, Flipkart, and etc.

NIT Kurukshetra conducted its Final Placements for the batch of 2019 with the participation of 1,015 eligible students from different disciplines, out of which over 819 students bagged 933 job offers from some of the big names in the industry.
598 students from the UG Program got placed. The maximum number (141) of placements were bagged by the students from the B.Tech. Electronics & Comm. Engineering program. The B.Tech. IT Department witnessed a 100% placement record while the highest CTC of INR. 40.63 LPA was provided to the Computer Engineering students.
With regards to the PG Placement Statistics, 221 out of 349 students successfully got placed. The maximum number of placements were done under the MCA program, where 58 out of 60 eligible students got placed.
The institute witnessed an uproar during its 2019 UG placements where 598 students from different B.Tech. Disciplines got placed under various sectors of the industry.

The Average CTC has gradually decreased in both the programs, from INR. 8.52 LPA to INR. 8.24 LPA in the UG program and from INR. 5.64 LPA to INR. 4.75 LPA at the PG level.
