For admission into the B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture program at Shine College, candidates must participate in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Admission is conducted through a college counselling process, and it's crucial to complete the college counselling form in a timely manner. The college's admission process is dependent on CUET scores, except for specific courses like veterinary science, which require NEET, and certain programs in the College of Basic Sciences, where admission is merit-based.

For those applying under the ICAR reservation, the selection is based on ICAR scorecards derived from CUET scores. Among reasons to choose Shine College are its proximity for local students and its adequate infrastructure and faculty. The agriculture program stands out for its sustainable career prospects, less likely to be affected by automation compared to other fields. While cutoff ranges or timelines are not explicitly mentioned, the counselling process is emphasized as a critical step in securing admission.
