IIT Mandi MS admission 2023 are over. Eligible candidates can apply online for the counselling process on on the official website - iitmandi.ac.in. Admissions to the IIT Mandi MS program will be granted on the basis of a written test and personal Interview conducted by the institute.

IIT Mandi M.S. Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must be qualified with one of the following requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Technology with a valid score in GATE exam.

OR

• A Master’s degree in appropriate Sciences with a valid score in GATE/ NET exam.

OR

• An Associate Membership in any of the following professional bodies will also be eligible for admission to the M.S. program of their parent discipline provided they have a valid GATE score and have passed both parts A and part B of the Membership examinations with a good academic record. The Institution of Engineers (India), (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics and communications), The Aeronautical Society of India, The Indian Institute of Metals, The Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers, The Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and other professional bodies approved by the Senate from time to time.

The institute offers admission to the program on the basis of merit in the GATE or NET exam followed by a personal interview or written test conducted by the institute itself.

IIT Mandi M.S. Course Details

• The entire course work consists of 15 credits. 
• The minimum duration of study and research required at the institute until the submission of the thesis is 18 months for all regular full-time M.S research scholars. 
• The research scholars are given a maximum duration of 3 years to submit the thesis from the date of registration to the course.
