- Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
- It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
- In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college
Dislikes
- Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
- Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
- There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

- It’s a very beautiful college. It’s a very good scenery and vibes.
- Everyone here is very helpful and they try to help help me in every way they can
- Here, the canteen is always open and they prepare various items in here

- Things I don’t like is that some buildings, some very few are very old and they need to geta renovation
- Some students are very messy here they paid. They do not have any idea of hygiene some students only.

Placement Experience:
As I am in the first year, I don't know much about the placement but I have heard less than the Oracle took to 3 to 4 students from here. The placement is taken place is currently under process in the college and they have taken four students from here. The average package goes to 12 to 13 lakhs but the placement is on at the moment in processing mode.

- The campus and it's environment here is very beautiful.
- Hostel accommodation are very good. Like once you get here you don't have to worry about place to stay
- Fests and extracurricular activities. The play ground is pretty amazing here.
Dislikes
- Wifi services are not good here like really not good.
- Students from all around the india so makes it very hard to fit in..
- 5 students in room that's really a thing that i don't like.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year.
Companies like tcs, Wipro, Reliance, tata etc.
The highest package was 44Lakh per annum to a cse student.
The minimum package is around 3.5 lakh per annum.
For Cs/It placement is almost 90 percent. But for core branches, it's up to 60 to 75 per cent.
Hopefully, I'll get a decent placement from my college that's my plan.

- Infrastructure of college is old but the classes are good having air conditioning and smart boards.
- The campus is situated at the banks of dal lake so it is very beautiful.
- Placements are good expecially now and the trend is improving.
Dislikes
- The marking system in exams is very strict.
- The hostel are cramped but as new hostel is under construction the problem will be solved.
- Faculty student ratio is not very good but the college is trying to improve that.

The placements are good with CSE having 120%, IT 140%, Mechanical 141%, ECE 107%, electrical 114%, chemical 104%, civil 65%, and MME 100% respectively. The highest on-campus placement was 36.5 lacs and the overall median package was 10.48 lacs in 2022-2023.

- Loved the beautiful campus. Greenery everywhere. Good environment. Fresh air unlike rest of India.
- Teachers attention to students is very good. And encouragement for development of skills is appreciable.
- Competition is high among students which make us work more hard everyday.
Dislikes
- Competition is high which demotivate us sometimes.
- Fee is a bit high for studemts having income of above 5 lacs.
- Campus is not maintained well as construction is going on.

The percentage of students getting placed is very high around 79%. The highest package is 42 lpa on campus and 90 lpa off campus. The average package was 9 lpa. Many famous companies like Tata, Infosys, Wipro, etc. visited to offer placements. There are also pre-placement offers Given to students before 4th year.

- Mountains and nature here is only this that I liked.
- Places near it where we can visit to chill out mood like dal lake.
- Kawa is drink here which you can enjoy by roaming outside.
Dislikes
- People here worst there mindset there way of thinking.
- Anti -nationlist living here there mindset which are corrupt.
- Kashmiri separating them from India considering themselves as separate.

Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester onwards Samsung, BPCL, ONGC, BEL, and many other PSUs along with some tech giants companies. The highest package is 45 lakh and avg is 8 LPA. Almost everyone who sits for placement gets placed here i.e. 92-95% I will go to IMA and join the Indian army as a lieutenant that's what I'm aiming for.

Our college is developing college and after few year level of our college is much better than today.
Likes
- Best thing i like about our college is our teacher. They are very helpful and always ready to solve our problems and doubts.
- Our campus is also very beautiful and clean.
- Our seniors are very helpful and always treat us like their brother.
Dislikes
- We have one serious issue which is attendance issue. We have to maintain 75% attendance.
- If we got attendence less than 75% we are not allowed to give examination.
- Also our college duration is very vast. Classes starts at 9 AM and ends at 5 Pm with only 1 hrs break. This take our huge time and we get tired a lot.
Placement Experience:
Placement are also good here. We are eligible for the placement after 6 semester. Our college highest package is 64 lack and avg package is around 9-10 lack. Top companies like Amazon, wipro, Microsoft give placement to students

- Campus view is good the mountains look nice
- Our Institute places a great emphasis on research and innovation.
Placement Experience:
Placements at our college are average .students are available to avail of placement facilities from the 3rd semester. companies like Wipro Technologies, Microsoft etc come here. the highest package was 78lakhs .my plans after the degree is sir to the CAT exam and get into an IIM

- Beauty of the college , the college is very beautiful.
- Placements are descent , and you will get the placement on campus.
- Teachers are very supporting and you can ask doubts anytime.
Dislikes
- Mess food on few days are very disgusting .
- Campus is very beautiful but at the same time its very small.
- Connectivity is very bad . You have to either take flight or have to travel 7-8 hours in a cab from jammu to reach srinagar.

The placement percentage is around 90.
The highest package of the ECE branch last year was 35 LPA and average was around 10 LPA.

- View is amazing here as you can see dal lake view from your room
- Helpful faculty members are there so you can take help at any time
Dislikes
- It has time barrier which limits on to go outside of the campus
- Its distance is main problem from jaamu as it takes too much time
- Its some time risky to travel here from jammu
Course Curriculum Overview:
All faculties are Ph.D. holders with various achievements in research fields. And for the curriculum, it's followed by iit rorokie. So approximately there are 150 faculties members. There is 1 mid-term in the energy semester and one end semester.

- I like its nice weather and beautiful location.
- It has good environment to focus on studies.
Dislikes
- No frequent events, activities and lack of venues to conduct events.
- NIT Srinagar is one of the smallest NIT in terms of campus area.
- No semester breaks. Only winter vacations.
Placement Experience:
NIT Srinagar provides good placements. Approximately 80% of students get placed every year. Every year some big companies come to college and offer a good package to the students. Around 90% of students get internships.
