- Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
- It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
- In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college
Dislikes
- Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
- Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
- There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

Remarks:
Nationalism is the feared topic in this college. Being in the conflict zone, there are frequent strikes in around college region. There's always a cold-war between local students and non-local students. Still, when it comes to studies and other functions, united we do things.

Gate 2016 my score was 483 I choose electrical engineering because highly experienced faculty..and my interest was in power system energy so I choose this college. I also wanted to give upsc exam for which I was getting enough time to prepare and do my reserach as well

Remarks:
The college management did not show concern towards the students of the college. All requests made to administration were ignored. To get a simple thing done, a student would have to travel around campus and meet and convince 20 people.

Remarks:
Outside strikes and Haralson effect our studies but our all staff are well qualified and experienced they cooperate the students in all respect co-circullar activities organised time to time multi national companies visited in the college. Overall college management doing a great job they manage all activities very well they listen the grievances of the student and resolved it they always ensure that student get top quality education from the college

AIEEE, had state rank 146 and All India Rank 35056. Well I am a native of Jammu & Kashmir and I like the environment and weather here. Also it has the oldest civil engineering courses in India with one of the best faculty. I always aspired to be a structural engineer and certainly I learned a lot from my experience in this college.

Entrance Preview:
I cleared my JEE MAINS with around 23000 rank and got mechanical branch in NIT srinagar. Therefore I decided to go mechanical branch leaving chemical branch which I was getting in NIT, Hamirpur. The process is smooth and student friendly.
