- Overall the faculty at nit srinagar is good they provide us with good study material and they have average speaking skills we can understand their lectures easily jsnsnjdjdhdhshshhsjsjshhshshshshshshhshshshshhshshshshshshhshshdh
- It has a beautiful campus and the best facilities the library has a huge amount of books and has free wifi speed like 100mbps.
- In nit srinagar campus placement is very good many companies visit and they offer good packages highest packages in our college is 40-50 lpa that is good and many companis like tata hcl visits out college
Dislikes
- Placements are very poor as only 20-30% students get placed with an average package of 6lpa!
- Rapid development must has to present here which feels bad about this college.
- There are no oncampus internships you have to find one your own and let college know about it.they put restrictions on everything and no proper leave is given for the internship facilities mentor you correctly and guide you

I my college placements are starts from 7 semester ,companies like HPCL GAIL BEL Tata Steel, oracle, aditya birla, rashmi metallics etc comes here previous year in my department highest package was 22LPA. PSU also come here

- College is good in infrastructure and buildings are made suitable for winters ...
- The faculty are also well educated and PhD holders ..girls to boys ratio is 1:5
- The location of the college is awesome and so beautiful as it is situated around the beautiful dal lake....
Dislikes
- The placements of the college are disappointing...
- The campus area of the college is so small and the people's outside campus is rude
- The facilities like 5 seater room are available in all the 3 years no privacy given to the students even in girls hostel there are 6 seaters room

The exam dates and timing were changed due to a notice on September 27, 2023.

- Faculty Is Very Cooperative, Environment is Very Good
- Teaching Method is Quite good they Use Digital Boards and They Have Good Labs

- Campus is very small so it need to be expand
- Food culture is Not good, And transportation also is not good

After 6 semester students are eligible for campus placements. several companies visited like Oracle, Vedanta, Rashmi metalic etc ,
And average package is 12 to 15 lakh , approx 70 to 80 percent students get placement

- Srinagar is a beatiful place and the university campus is loacted besides Dal lake.
- Schedule for classes is also not that hectic,you'll get 2 days off every week.
- Has an overall safe and healthy enviroment.
Dislikes
- Infrastrusture is not that good. Can be improved.
- Weak placement record. Especially in the core branches.
- Mediocre college festivals.Due to poor conectivity and low budget artists don't prefer coming.
Placement Experience:
There are in campus placements in our university. Students become eligible for the same from 7th semester. Companies like IBM, AMAZON, WIPRO, INFOSYS, DELOITTE, CGEGG, HONDA, NTPC, ACCENTURE are the top recruiters. The highest package was of 36.5 LPA and the average is 11.5LPA in the year 2023. The placement rate was of 108.38%.

- The weather and the location. There is very cold weather.
- The faculty and staff. Faculty have very freindly and helping nature.
- The ground and all the club. There are almost all type of sports ground available.
Dislikes
- The connectivity of the Institute is not good as now. But the train between srinagar and delhi vamde bharat will start from 25 january.
- The hostel food is not good. It os decent. 3 of 7 days non veg is served.
- There are wi-fi and lan available in almost every hostel but sometimes they don't work properly.
Placement Experience:
7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. In this ongoing year many companies autodesk, Nvidia, oracle, Samsung, tata steels etc. Highest offer is offered by autodesk to two students ctc of 35.5 lacs per annum. The average package is around 10.48 lpa. Almost 75-80?percent student gwt placed. I planned to get good placement after degree.

- Colleage academics so my academics is well and good it’s beeen more important and beneficial
- And the most imp things Kis colleage life is quite good

- Boring lectures are not good for me it’s too bored me and that not good
- The things is some lectures are also bored and not teaching well
- Not good for me it’s Clg are too bored or the student the colleage fest is so boring

Releavance of chemical engineering is too Goff in this field the chemical engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with chemicals and in this branch use in industrial and chemical processes

- In this college,thera are many faculties and each of them are superb .Their teaching methodology and mentorship qualities are best.They put special efforts in their class.
- As we know this college is located on the bank of the beautiful Dal lake on the lap of mountains 🏔️.It gives most beautiful feeling.
- Infrastructure and hostels of this college are very different from the rest of India and looks amazing .There are so many sports ground available for almost each sports like cricket, badminton, football, running track, volleyball, basketball etc.
Dislikes
- The most disliked by me in this college is the food of mess.because sometimes it's too bland and tasteless but not everytime.
- The problem of vegetarian food is very common in college or near by place.There are not so much vegetarian restaurant or hotels
- One of the reason is dislike this college is tension in valleys of kashmir.This leads to restrictions on the students to not go so much out from the campus.
Placement Experience:
After the 6th semester, students here eligible for their placement.The placement of this college is very decent and nice. here.so many big companies visited like Ashok leyland,L&T,Mahindra etc.Almost all of the students are placed here .

- I am liking the campus views in the winters like in December to February there was snowfall in the campus all over the field roads was fully covered with snow that's so awesome.
- I am liking the library facility it is just 2 minutes work issuing any of the books they gave us managed books slots according th our Branches and Subjects.
- I am also liking the technical fest and cultural and sports meets held in our college it was terrific experience to us to know something new to now new innovative ideas.
Dislikes
- Dislikes the restrictions that was so much highly strict about the college culture restrictions for the girls to not come out of their respective hostels after 8 PM it was also for boys 10 PM
- Dislikes most of mess food it was so bad that was not worth it to us .what we are paying for it and what we are getting
- Dislikes the games culture there is no competition held for internal playes to compete it was not held officialy by Institute
Placement Experience:
From the 7 semester we are eligible for campus placements .the most companies visited for placement are oracle ,vedanta .the highest package offered was 39 lakhs per annum according to the records from Computer science branch the minimum was 4.8 laks per annum it was offered to Civil branch student .percentage are different for each branch but approx 70 percent of all eligible and applied for placement got placed .after getting degree i was not got placed with a decent packege i was try to got place off campus according to eligibility and field requirements.

- Our college has a kind of peace which leads to many useful thoughts
- Our faculty who are kind hearted towards students and teach the subject in a good way
Dislikes
- Our college food need to improve alot , snacks should be provided and food should be delicious
- The level of research should be increased and the equipment should be provided
- Water facility should be maintained , improve pipe lines
Placement Experience:
There are a good opportunities for placements in our college. Our course,civil has an average package of year is 11 lakhs. In future it may increase as civil engineers demand is increasing. This year nearly 70% of students get placed.

- I really liked the campus of Nit Srinagar. It's very beautiful and surrounded by snowy mountains.
- I also liked the faculty of atleast my course not sure about others. They are very helpful.
- I also liked the infrastructure of my college. They have a nice football field and also they also have good sports activities
Dislikes
- I didn't liked the administration especially Dean and stuff. They are very rude and dishonest.
- I also didn't liked the Canteen area as they sell many items way too expensive
Placement Experience:
Placements of nit are top notch. They have almost 75 percent placement rate. If by chance someone don't get placed then they still have not tag with their name which gets them and edge over other candidates
