Certain students get placed. And some of them get internship opportunities through college. And if you didn't get any internship through college you will have to enroll yourself in any by your own and submit internship report in the final year.

Placement Experience:

In the final year that is either 5th or 6th sem you can go for placements And you can get offered from companies like Infosys,Wipro,ibm,etc. The average package a company offers is a minimum of 3 lakhs per annum.

As of now the college is trying it's very best to bring a handful of placements but many times the college has failed to bring new placements as our college is still in it's novice era and will take time to gain reputation.

Campus placement comes often. They are from high ranked companies. As a second year student we are not into placement discussion. Many placement are available. But our seniors are not taking them. Instead they go for other oppertunity.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell is opened from 3rd year. There is a seperate cell called placement cell in the college which assists. The placements are coming. There is job calling, interviwes are happening. The avarrage package is 7lpa and highest is 15lpa came.

The students are eligible for placements from 5th semester onwards. Interested students can opt for placement assistance, which helps in undertaking certification courses and provides soft skill training sessions to the students. Along with regular messages with job opportunites, An yearly placement drive is organised with 50+ companies offering jobs. The highest package offered was around 5.5 LPA and the average stands at 3.5 LPA.

Placement Experience:

You become eligibility only after 5th sem for campus placements. Placements offered are quite good. The highest package I've heard someone got was around 8-9 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placed is much less compared to the actual no of students. Id like to do an MBA after the completion of my course

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is a little outdated and basic. We learn the same thing in our 11th and 12th so it is just adding a few more points to the things we already studied or like brushing it up. The curriculum does not really prepares you for the real world applications as it is fully theory. The teaching methods are mainly reading from the ppts which is not very useful and the timings for the exams are perfect with perfect intervals

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

  • Students are irritated by their evaluation system. 
  • They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
  • The faculty never completes the syllabus.
  • The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
  • The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
  • There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
