I did my ug in BCA, so my aim is to become a software developer. That's why I opted MCA course. The faculties are good. There are 180 students are pursuing their MCA every year. Most of the facilities are PhD scholars they are very friendly to us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA is a very good and costless course if you want to pursue your career in the IT sector. A total of 260 students are there and they have divided it into 4 sections. Teachers are fresher and don't have much experience but teachers are good. The college is affiliated with Bangalore university so they conduct the exam.

Placement Experience:

From the sixth semester, the students will be eligible for placements TCS, Wipro Infotech, Infosys Technologies, Capgemini, Northern Trust, and cognizant technology are some of the companies around 60% of the students will be placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The exams conducted here is semester wise, hence college itself takes 2 internal before the semester exam. Hence internal preparation gets us prepared well for our semester exam. We don't find semester exams that tough.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course was a 3-year course and the subject that was thought in it were future-ready topics and had a lot of scope at the time. The class had a total of 20 girls and 30 boys. The faculties all were well qualified and had a few research papers to their name. The term examination was held timely and the topics that were asked were really important and difficult.

The students are eligible for placements from the end of the 4th sem. The companies that have visited our college are JP Morgan, Morgan and Stanley, cognizant, Infosys, etc. The average package is 5 to 6 lakhs. The placement percentage is 70%

We get placement during our final year. we have top companies for placement like Amazon Accenture HP and many more our highest package is 12L for management and 21L for engineering. Almost 80% of students get placed in the campus recruitment.

Placement Experience:

From the 5th semester we can attend our campus placements. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, byju's, etc. Offers made are around 80% The highest package is 25 lakhs. The lowest package is 4 lakhs. 80% of the students are placed. My plan is to pursue MBA.

The question will be very tough the examination are very strict in exams all teachers will make us confused that the exam pattern will be changed so get ready for everything this time exam is not like last time. Then finally I passed my exam but the paper is very difficult.

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

  • Students are irritated by their evaluation system. 
  • They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
  • The faculty never completes the syllabus.
  • The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
  • The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
  • There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
