- The Campus is very beautiful, with a lot of space
- The fests that are conducted twice a year
- The stalls that are set in front of the new block almost every day
Dislikes
- The journalism course is under the English department instead of the mass media department
- Classes are cancelled at the very last minute
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is very repetitive, but if u want you can do a lot on your own. I expected broadcast journalism to be a part of the course which was not and we were under the English department so it's meh

- 1. The collage hostels that is its infrastructure
- 2. Collage does not promote sports that is it does not have grounds in the main campus

Ofcourse there are campus placement
A total of 350 companies visit our college and the placements are far better for CS and AI& ML and EEEand other courses compared to MECH & CIVIL.
The percentage varies between branches for CS it the most and MECH&CIVIL stands at the bottom with a percentage of around 60-50%

- One of the best thing about acharya is the campus, it's more like a nature park, silent and free from all traffics. It's bit far from the Bengaluru City, but anyway it's better like this silence and calmness
- The faculties, to be honest this college has the best service among other colleges in my perspective, any time available for help and guiding
- Sports! Will give more importance to sports who has that potential
Dislikes
- Just a bit far from city.. it's the only thing which I consider a cons but anyway you'll get silent and calm environment (free from honking, pollution, traffic etc)
Placement Experience:
Most of the offers from different types of companies approaches this college, like Hitachi, honor, voltas, Wipro etc. the highest package is for data science i Guess, it's like about 67lpa, and for my course it's about 5-6lpa and im planning to take masters after this

- Experienced teachers. Well skilled teachers
- Supportive faculty. And they stand by if any problem occurs.
- Understands the problem of the individuals and teaches as they are required to be reached.
Dislikes
- No extra curricular activities are encouraged
- Some the lectures aren't that kind of skilled
- Skips some part of lessons if their is shortage of time

As I like accepting I pursued to choose this course.
Teachings methods are good and understandable.
The exams are tough as possible. Students can clear out paper by the least marks and it's not tat though to pass out in this course.

- It feels comfortable to stay in a campus full of women
- Safe for us and indeed family , theres no need to worry about the security
- Friendly staff , and it feels homely in here
Dislikes
- I can say that students in here have learn how to behave, being around women is also an advantage also disadvantage when people get too comfortable they forget how to behave .
- Should start conducting more activities and events
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is conveyed in an effective way, timely and proper notes are provided by the lecturers. The portions are completed prior the commence of the examinations and revisions are made which helps us to understand the topics in a more better way.

- In this college there are many competition and fest are also happened
- This college has no ground and they play on top
- Education vise it good college but the campus is small
Dislikes
- The management of college is not proper and the teacher take advantage of internal marks
- Every time they are trying but the principles is so strick
- There is no proper class and the are very difficult to get out of the campus

My seniors tells me that the placements were not too good. They're placement of in some bakeries, and it's not too good. They get placement in sailsdepartment and something like that. They need to improve when placements and tie ups preventive ci

- Environment and some of the faculty are good
- The guest lecturers who come for the add on course are pretty well
- Library system where students can lend books
Dislikes
- Facilities like the projectors and classrooms are not well
- Small ground and less sports hours and activities
- No fests going on in clg except study related events
Course Curriculum Overview:
The good reputation about this college influenced me to join and the fees structure here too...they teach pretty well and they teach us based on practical knowledge not based on exam point of view but the exam frequency is a bit difficult

- Timings of the college it's to early to attend classes at that time
- No extraa activities to chill are minds fron study pressure

When I finish doing my schooling my first option was mes it has good friendly environment in cllg with different opportunities for students with other impressive events and good educational opportunities too many scholarships are provided

- The college will punish students who are late for a genuine reason
- Uniform fees are very high even though the fabric quality is cheap

The specific aspect of this curriculum which influenced my decision to choose this course was mainly for pursuing my career in research. The curriculum prepares me really well for the future as I'll be able to pursue any career in the lab and it will be highly beneficial for further academic pursuits which will give me a high degree. The improvements needed are in the lab facilities. If the teachers want the students to get a clear idea of the theory, they need to emphasize more on the practical side of Biotechnology. This will help students to get an understanding of how to perform in the lab in the working sector. The timing of exams for midterms are 1 hour 15 mins. The timing of exams for Terminal Exams are for 2 hours 30 mins. The difficulty level varies according to the amount of time given for preparation and the knowledge level of the student. If a main subject is given only 1 or 2 days for preparation, then the difficulty level will be very high

- The campus is good, it is huge and a lot of greenery
- There are small weekly cultural programs conducted by the cpa
- They provide easy internship options which was helpful
Dislikes
- The infrastructure building for diploma is very old, also we studied in the hb building and our class was on the third floor so climbing all the stairs was huge hassle early in the morning
- There weren't many college fests, there was only a few and the main one was at the dsu campus and it had entry fee
- The crowd is not so great in diploma but there were still nice ppl out there too and I made good friends
Placement Experience:
There are a lot of good companies that comes for placement as it was mentioned but I'm not fully sure since I'm now in my final year and still haven't gotten to the placements yet so I don't have a lot to say abt that

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.
- Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
- They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
- The faculty never completes the syllabus.
- The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
- The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
- There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.
It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
