Good ecosystem, many extra and co curricular activities like utsav, cultural exposure, inter and intra sports activities, annual college fest where we can show our various talent like science models, marketing skills etc good teaching
I don't think it is too good , only 5 to 10 percent get placement opportunities that too they are mostly employed into college
Good infrastructure which has a legacy of 150 years
Dislikes
Too much strict on wearing physical id cards though we have digital ones
Some lectures need to be trained how to teach
Basically the tech skills of teachers is very weak
Placement Experience:
Mostly after second year In the 3 Rd year placement opportunities are available. As I am a fresher and my ambition is to be a ca and open my own business so I don't focus more on these aspects. Therefore I don't have much knowledge
The college campus is so nice. The peace park is so amazing and clean.
The sports in this college is so good. It has the great record in sports.
Dislikes
That the professional course are starting at 7.00 am and it's so sleepy in the morning.
Course Curriculum Overview:
This course is the 3rd toughest exam in india.the teaching methods are very highly skilled workers. In our college the skilled CA lecture are coming to teach the course.in our college the kvc academy is incharge of our course
The environment of this college is really good, it offers you an opportunity to develop yourself in every aspect of life.
The faculty is equipped with required skills and plenty of experience.
The infrastructure is really good and there's use of software in almost every aspect of learning.
Dislikes
The class strength in professional batches are 90 on an average, which could be suffocating for a few.
The amount of tests and exams can be hectic, as two internal exams are conducted every day once a month.
For a few subjects, inexperienced faculties are put as replacement.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is updated every year and is very relevant to the fast paced world. They have integrated the Bcom course with acca subjects so that it will be easy for us to keep up with both the courses. They have integrated NEP subjects as per the mandate of the government which helps the students learn about the basic fundamentals apart from their course.
The infrastructure and the campus is soo good and soothing. I think it has the best campus than every college in manglore. I
It has soo many canteen and cafes inside our campus. 6 to 8 canteens and cafes are available inside the campus
There are many cultural festivals, fests and many programs which are conducted every day. Every day we can find some or other activities happening near Kate (mother Theresa peace park).
Dislikes
It's soo much strict. U can't even wear colour dress for fests and all. U can't wear crop tops or torn jeans.
It's strict in studies to.. you'll have internals every month and get irritated by it.
You'll be completely frustrated about every strictness tht has to followed.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is good . Difficulty level is increased because now St Aloysius is an university but it's soo nice to be post of this university and we are completely enjoying our college days even we have internals every month and the time duration for internals is 1 and half hours for 50 marks????.
Experienced teachers with their vast knowledge about teaching
Library is the must visited area in the campus
Dislikes
Lab facilities were not as good as the private colleges
PhD scholars are engaging class sometimes
No time for extracurricular activities like annual day dance practices
Course Curriculum Overview:
Specific aspect of the curriculum that influenced my decision to choose this course is the library. The lab experiments prepares students to face the real world application. The frequency and timing of exams are bit difficult, we will get only a day gap between exams
Good campus with spacious class rooms and we'll ventilated
Smart classes and a park for peace of mind
Large campus with greenery everywhere and good atmosphere
Dislikes
Consists a gym but each of us are given different timings which is a hassle
Strict rules and I mean it when I say it, if you break a rule then expect consequences
Canteen should contain more seats as it gets occupied within few minutes
Placement Experience:
From 2nd year students get eligible for campus placements, many companies like Infosys and Wipro etc visit our campus for placements, highest package offered is 10 lakh and minimum is 3 lakh. Overall 70% of students get placed yearly which is great.
The teaching staff is very good and they get to know their students on a personal basis and make sure they all understand what they teach
The canteen food they provide is very cheap considering other canteens in other colleges in mangalore
They have many positive enviornmental projects where they tell students to spend and have recyclable bins only for plastic bottles or bags throughout the campus
Dislikes
The facilities for the different blocks aren’t the same and some block as have better facilities even though they have less students
The time it takes the students to walk from the hostel to the class is too long and there’s no way to make it shorter and the hostel doesn’t provide breakfast in time for the people who have to go class in the morning as they are professional batches
The office do not care about the students and do not update us on time and cause a lot of confusion for the students and they don’t properly help them based on their problem as well
Placement Experience:
I don't know much about the campus placement in our college but I know the majority or the major companies come there for students but the jobs they offer are very limited and not as much as compared to the students who want the placement the average package I know is 3 lakhs but the most is 15 lakhs
The are many laboratories so that we can go there and finish all our work
Dislikes
The only problematic thing is that we have to walk a lot
Placement Experience:
I don't know anything about the placement system yet because my elder sister who had studied in St Aloysius College it was an Autonomous college now it's a Deemed to be university so I ddont know what's the system now.
I loved most teachers in college. They made sure they did everything for our best
I loved the surroundings of my college. It has the best vibe and homely feeling
I'm very thankful for the friends I met there and the memories i created
Dislikes
I didn't like the teaching of few teachers.
I didn't like the fact that our some programs like the IV trip failed
I didn't like the unnecessary miscommunication the office staff had
Course Curriculum Overview:
The subject was relevant to the curriculum. Snd yes there was some real world applications when it came to marketing or principles of mgt and even entrepreneural skills. The timings of exam of 1.5 hours was tooo less for internals
