Likes
- Availabities of scholarship can be used widely to get financial help.
- There are annual fest all year and other celebration over the special occasions .coming to sports it supports sports very well it's a good college join and see why should i ruin the surprise, i hope you all enjoy it
- Campus , the faculty members are very friendly and they help there best for the students
Dislikes
- Politics is sometimes misused , so fights used to be there. Still manageable
- Some teachers seem not to care or are too full of themselves and reduce internal marks for basically nothing
- Anyone can go inside the campus and there is no restrictions

- The teaches, they are very good at their job and caring.
- Good atmosphere, good campus and faculty
- Every equipments are available, including all facilities
Dislikes
- Some parts of the campus are not maintained
- Some teachers are ignorant, and too fast paced
- Nothing more negative to say about CUSAT
Placement Experience:
Cs, Electronics, IT and Fire and Safety engineering gets the best placement ranging from 5LPA to 12LPA average, core engineering companies and startups visit the campus for recruitment where 90% of the students get placed

- The area of campus is too large and eco friendly.
- The girls to boys ratio is also almost equal.
- And also they have introduced gender neutral uniforms
Dislikes
- Complexity in finding the deparments as all the departments are at different places.
- Few hostel lack hygiene. And few seniors are not that cooperative.
- Over incoming of animals like cows and dogs
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible to attend campus placements.
Amazon, wipro, infosys, tata, bmw, tcl, and other mnc companies often visit our campus with lots of offers. More than 120 companies visit our campus.
Last year it was 25 lpa for IT department and it was the highest placement.
Almost 70 percent students get placed in campus placements if not having backpapers.
My plan after degree is to get pg from a reputed college

- Faculty is very knowledgeable and very respectable in terms of teach
- The campus is very large with culture exposure
- All the facilities are very well maintained and nurse said with multiple clubs

- The last number of cows roaming around the campus
- The vastness of the campus is sometimes bad

Placement Experience:
Just placements are one of the strongest resorts of this university and that ensures perfect placement experience for us students. We are eligible to apply for the placements from 7th semester onwards we can start the preparation from 6th semester

- Campus of the college is very wide and scenic
- The teachers are very knowledgeable ever.
- The roads and infrastructure are very nice

- There is very small bit of ragging like everywhere
- There are large number of cows and all roaming
- The auditorium is closed for now so less shows

The placements here are very broad and widespread. We have a large number of capable and essential industrial companies that visit here to place our students so if we can or have the capability to perform well, we are much likely to get placed.

- The Campus has provided a good atmosphere for students to study.
- The faculty are very well versed in their respective areas of teaching.
- There are various events which are hosted by the student committee and college.
Dislikes
- We have to be in uniform during classes in college.
- We have to maintain the attendance percentage to write University exams .
- We have to submit assignments on time to get the internal marks.
Course Curriculum Overview:
It is one of the best engineering colleges in Kerala. It is nirf ranked 51 overall India. This University provides many courses from undergraduate to post graduate courses.The syllabus hold a very good standard in their respective branch.

- The campus environment is so good, soothing, calm.
- Faculties are friendly, Loving and teaches well.
- Infrastructure are good and eco-friendly.
Dislikes
- Lack of cleanliness. Bathroom classroom etc are not cleaned.
- Improper waste management. Waste are scattered here and there
- Stray dogs, snakes etc roam around the college making unsafe for students
Placement Experience:
After 6th semester placement starts and students securing cgpa above 7 and maximum 2 back papers are able to apply for majority of companies
And placements are more concentrated for computer science students
Mitsogo, ibm, electriflex, ibs, Infosys, soti etc are some of the companies came till date
Highest package is 8lakh
Only 20 to 30% getting placement

- nothing much everything seems to be fine so far
Placement Experience:
placements are quite good here our branch avg is like 7 lpa as far as ik. my olans after the degree is to do mba or mtech or pursue with aa placement if i get any. we will see that in the near future.

- Faculties behaviour,They were kindly behave to students.
- Hostel room,After the collage we were hang in hostel room.They are neat and clean.
- Library,The collage provide a library room for reading, writing,etc.They are peaceful place for students.
Dislikes
- Hostel wardens,They were so rude and shout to students
- Hostel food,That are not cooked it.Sometimes they were insects or something in it.
- Hostel bathroom,They are not cleaning properly.In bathroom there are brokens pipe and doors in it.It is uncomfort for students.
Placement Experience:
They are placements were provided and lots of them were placed in the college time.They are 5 of them companies were visited and about 60 persons were selected in the college.The placements were started the half of the 3rd yr.And they were get a great opportunities and most of them were placed.If they didn't get,the college were help to get a job.

The students become eligible for campus placements from sixth semester onwards ,so many companies visit the campus and recruit. Some of them are cognizant,tcs,wipro etc majority of the students are getting good placements

- Culture at CUSAT is great. Being in a metro city and having students from all over Kerala, students from North India and even many international students. There's always some program going on in the campus. You get to explore a lot of new stuff.
- The faculties are great with good qualification and are really helpful.
- Sports facilities are great, with separate courts for different games. Even offeres free coaching for boxing.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is not as good as other colleges that we compete with.
- The campus is kept clean, while the surrounding areas are very unclean with people dumping waste.
- Cows. CUSAT is referred to as CowSAT because of the wandering cows in the campus. They defecate everywhere leaving the campus with dung
Placement Experience:
The placements at CUSAT is pretty good compared to it's peer colleges. Students become eligible for placement by 6th semester. The highest package offered is 24LPA. The average packages are offered by service based companies like TCS Infosys, etc, which offered 4-6 LPA. Around 60-70% of students who has no backlogs get placed. IBM, Cisco, TATA ELXSI, Infosys, TCS, Reliance etc are some famous companies that visit the campus. Around 300+ offered were made for BTech students. The profile offered by most companies is Software Engineering and Cisco offeres network engineering
