MG University B.Voc Software Development and System Administration: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Both are 3-year programmes under MGU, but the B.Voc. has multiple exit options (Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Degree).

Ans. Yes. B.Voc. degree holders are eligible for vertical mobility to Masters and Research degree programmes mapped at NSQF Level 8-10. However, eligibility for specific PG programmes like MCA or M.Sc. Computer Science may depend on the individual university's admission criteria. Some universities may require a B.Sc./BCA background for MCA admission. Students planning for higher studies should verify the eligibility requirements of their target PG programme before choosing B.Voc. It is advisable to check with MGU or the target university directly.

Ans. After the completion of every even semester (Semester 2, 4, and 6), students must undergo a minimum 2-week internship in a reputed IT company that has been established for at least 2 years. The internship can be done in India or abroad. Students must submit a comprehensive report attested by the organisation, along with an internship certificate, to the Head of the Department for evaluation. The internship is a mandatory component and carries academic credit.

Ans. After completing Year 1 (NSQF Level 5), graduates can work as Web Application Developer, UI Developer, or System Integrator. After Year 2 (NSQF Level 6), they can work as Desktop/Web Application Developer, Database Administrator, or Linux Administrator.
