Placement Experience:

The college provides decent placement including the highest package of almost 13lpa. Almost maximum of the students from a particular batch have a chance to grab a package here. The training and placement department of the college is working great from past years and giving students maximum probability to achieve their dream placement.

Placements are provided but it depends on subject streams and availability including many other factors. But yes if you have honestly completed your studies and well equipped with knowledge and technology you will be able to explore n number of opportunities like you can opt further for a doctrate degree or research on trending topics or you could land youself job in companies & even MNCs. One can also clear exams like Net JRF, Gate, DBT, ICMR, ICAR etc to get stipend while doing research or pursuing doctrate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I wanted to keep my options open after taking science during school and I was interested in the subject. The faculty and student ratio was good since only filtered ( students who want to study and become something one day) used to come so it was usually 1:25. One of the great things about bioscience in Softvision is its faculties. You'll always get 1 or 2 highly motivating and knowledgeable faculty from whom you'll learn the most. Junior faculties were usually the ones with MSc. degrees and senior facilities were with PHDs. Exams used to be timely and it was pretty easy to pass. An average student can get 50-60% quite easily. The difficult thing was to get higher than 80-85%.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Biotechnology is a developing field and in the coming future it's use would increase that's why I choose this course. Teachers are highly qualified and they all have ample knowledge about their subjects. Most of them had cleared the NET examination and student: teacher ratio was 3:1. Teaching was mostly conducted through ppt displayed on the projector and sometimes through blackboard. 5 internal tests were conducted and they were of the medium level where marks could be scored easily if you were regular in your classes and out of these 5, top 3 test marks were taken and also for internals marks presentations were a must.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I am interested in computers and technology. The student-to-teacher ratio is 70:1. Both Ph.D. teachers and teachers who had done M.Sc. in the respective subjects were teaching. The teaching method of each teacher is unique. By and large, teachers are interactive and supportive. They try to make us understand everything and solve our doubts. There is a semester system in our college and exams are held semester-wise. The difficulty level of the term exam is average.
