Remarks:

Yes surrounding of people is good, crowd also I can say is good but the college is not like college life, you have to wear I'd cards every time, you have to wear pant with shirt only one day in a week you can wear casuals otherwise only formal and they'll charge fine if you wear jeans or any casual dress code.Even in winter's you have wear blazers that's very irritating thing not only that you have to pay fine of rs500 if you wear casuals.

I chose this college because it was Nearby and provides BBA degree and not BMS. The reviews i received were also okay and most importantly i didn't gave the entrances for BBA.so i was looking for a college which selects candidates on the basis of merit.

Remarks:

Just because of amazing rankings in the reputed magazines like outlook, India Today, career 360, chronicle, the week, competition success review, etc. My coaching faculty told me to go to either Narseemonjee or UPES which I failed to consider because Narseemonjee just started law college that year and UPES gives specialisation in energy laws which I wasn't interested in doing. There is no college campus as such, just an insufficient cuboid building because of which there are two shifts of classes, exams and every other thing. The faculties they recruit are least bothered about teaching instead they focus on course completion by just giving an overview and that too is given in such a stupid manner that most of the students can teach better than the teacher. They lack resources whether it is computers, books, quality teachers, practical Exposure, healthy competition or anything. Pune is a worst city for students who don't understand Marathi because the regional language is used in courts because of which you can't do internship also in most of the cases. Ultimate conclusion college is worst and the city itself is a negative for students not knowing Marathi. There's no life in the pathetic college. In terms of placement my BBA class of 2020 of 200+students got just 8 campus recruitments and that too with lesser than minimum wage salaries. Please save yourself from choosing this five year path of destruction. Make sure you reach very well before choosing any college.

Bharati Vidyapeeth: 1 Answered Question

What is your review of Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University?

Supriya Sarkar
Sumona GhoseBVDU

I have a friend who completed his engineering program from BVDU, Pune back in 2018. Here is a brief overview of the college based on his experience at the institute.

  • Campus- The campus is beautiful. Before it became deemed to be a university it used to be among the best colleges under PU.
  • College life- Academic-wise, the practical portion is generally neglected. BVDU follows the PU submission pattern, so you'll be compelled to finish your assignments before the deadline.
  • Crowd- My friend mentioned that due to the crowd, BVDU always stood superior to the IITs in Pune because here you would come across people who belong to diverse backgrounds and mindsets. This diversification shapes your personality.
  • Faculty- It is pretty average. But for someone who carries a thirst to learn, they would not be disappointed. The HOD and professors are no doubt excellent. But the biggest drawback is that they don’t put in 100% effort.
  • Placements- In case you're someone with excellent coding skills, the companies that show up may give you a chance, Students from ECE, IT, CS has decent placement record. You can try to work on your communication skills, build your LinkedIn network and contribute your work in the final year. The average salary received by students was 7 LPA while the highest package was 54 LPA.

All in all, it may not be the best college in Pune, but you'd come across several people from different backgrounds and the faculty quality is also good. You can definitely consider it as an option.
